I like the red detailing on the leaves. nice touch and it pulls your eye to the spaces that arent coverup space

As a tattooer I have used many products in the quest to heal tattoos in the best way possible. I recently came across an all natural product called Hustle Butter. I was quite skeptical about it when I was introduced to it at a convention in Miami. It seemed like half of the guys there were using it and going on about using it durring the tattoo and as aftercare. I spoke With the owner of the company who sent me some free samples. I have to admit that it seemed to work well for me durring the tattoo and we used it on several pieces as an aftercare with fantastic results. It is certainly worth looking into...
Have you tried h2Ocean products?:)

Hi All - I am new member...following protocol: my name is Brandi, I tried searching for my question to avoid a duplicate post but didn't find anything relavent.
I am wondering what the consensus is on Tattoo Vanish, the non-laser tattoo removal treatment. I have a 2"x2" tattoo on my inner ankle, black ink, that I would like to remove. I am not opposed to covering up but would like to keep roughly the same size of 2"x2" which is why I am considering removal. Also, I am taking into consideration that tattoo removal (laser or non-laser) may not fully remove the ink which is why I may choose to cover up.
I have read through the threads related to laser removal and it seems that this is the common process but was wondering if anyone had feedback on Tattoo Vanish. Any information or feedback would help as I am currently assessing what would best suit my needs and expectations.
Thanks in advance!
Brandi
Any coverup is going to be larger- you HAVE to give your artist freedom with that kind of thing.. but bigger can be beautiful. If they keep it feminine, maybe the size would not matter as much.

I apologize if this is already a thread. We were having a discussion at the shop of what we would get on our knuckles (words symbols etc) if we had the urge/time/freedom etc. and what the best/most fitting/personal/hilarious ones would be.
What are your ideas if, hypothetically there were no work-place or social repercussions to getting knuckle tattoos. What would you get?
Welcoming all fresh ideas!

Occasionally young kids come into the shop with huge throat tattoos, massive stretched ears, hands and knuckles done.and they're only 20-23... And I can't help but ask them "what do you do for a living?"
sometimes the answers surprise me lol.
One turned out to be a fisherman.lol

The Pearl has a deal on this April. They are offering $100 daffodil tattoos with %100 of the cash going to cancer research. That's a special I can get behind.
That is a fantastic idea. I like that idea.
specials and flash days arent what i was referring to..i meant a discount of general services for promotional purposes.
But these specials = great shop ideas.. I am really liking the daffodile tattoo thing

This was not one of those cases.. I don't want to get too specific (small world) it just caught me off guard..general sale. lol

I'm glad I'm not alone in my sentiment!!!
I didn't want to come across as an arse.. it just seemed very tacky when I witnessed it..no ill will ment...
-
Though rare (as it is not really an industry standard), I am seeing it -. I get that this is a business, tattooing - but this just does not seem right.. like a plastic surgeon having a sale on implants.lol...
I know it's common to discount for a good client or knock a little off the hourly rate for a long sitting, and or for a 'portfolio piece' that the artist just really wants to do, however, blatantly advertising a "sale" on the radio is a different story..
Personal opinion - no offense meant.
Thoughts? Would love your take on this...
Does this happen in your area?

...*facepalm*... my first tattoo(that i did) was on my own foot (putting needle to skin i just..didnt want to subject anyone else, i knew how they should feel..gave me a good judge of pressure and now im fairly gentle handed)..it was script..and its still totally legible with smooth lines, spacing, etc..... I do not understand how someone can screw up that badly., it makes absolutely no sense to me..
yes i had professional help etc..but regardless..eeeeeeeeeeeven if you were to YOUTUBE proper machine set up???it should go better than THAT.... sigh...not that i condone that either..but there is enough info on the internet at this point to make that crap completely completely inexcusable..
natural. selection.

here the trends are silhouettes of birds.. "believe" tattoos , "heart of a lion" tattoos, and there are monthly people coming in to get yesteryear's tweety bird tattoos covered up... sigh.
dumbest recently...honestly sometimes the dumb tattoos are the coolest lol. in a new school way...its just the trend tattoos that are kinda like "really?" but hey..who am i to judge.

I wish something like this would work in the city I'm in..one city over and it would.but this town you get a lot of "believe" tattoos..silhouettes of birds... tazmanian devil..butterflies..not many "traditionally minded" tattoo collectors..lol

not that all flash is traditional..just that they wouldnt really get the concept..
