Got to try some restaurants when I was at Atlantis. First one was Nobu, which they have all over the world including Vegas, LA, NY, and Dubai. It was pretty delish but VERY expensive. Toro Tartare was not as good as the one at Morimoto's. They are known for their rock fish tempura which is served w/a spicy cream sauce. So delish. I'm must admit, everything else was probably really tasty since we had gone thru several bottles of sake. The best part was a server standing over my shoulder as a rolled a joint, watching intently. He was very impressed. Couple nights later went to Bobby Flay's Mesa. As much as I LOVE Bobby Flay, the food was ok and totally overpriced. Next time I'm at Caesar's (where he has another Mesa), I will definitely go to the Bradley Ogden instead. For our last dinner, we went to Dune which is a restaurant by world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. I may already be partial to him cuz he has a restaurant called Chez Vong in Paris. Anyway, this was the best meal of the trip. The restaurant is at the One and Only Beach Club which is the hotel you see when Bond pulls up in the circular driveway in Casino Royale. We started with crab fritters which were served with a spicy hoisin sauce. For my entree I got the roasted Peking duck which was so moist, tender and delicious. It was served with a stir fry of asparagus, shiitake mushrooms and lotus flowers. I had the Casino Royale Martini with the meal of course. Service was amazing, the view was the ocean with a full moon and the food delectable. Highly recommend the Atlantis if you're thinking of going to the Bahamas!

Just got back from the Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas. That place is insane! It's like Vegas on a Caribbean island. There's watersides, the best lazy river, a monstrous aquarium, a casino, tons of beaches, a free movie theater, and delicious restaurants. The aquarium has sharks and huge sting rays in it. One of the waterslides is a tunnel that goes thru the aquarium. When we hit the tunnel, there was a shark just napping on it, a foot above our heads. Fuckin nuts! This was also where Casino Royale was filmed. When we were there, the Top Chef reunion was being filmed so we met Gail Simmons in a restaurant. Was also lucky enough to meet Santana Moss who us my fave player on the Redskins. Highly recommend visiting this place once in your life.
