    Hey thanks bigjoe, out of interest how did you find all of those? Are they just shops/artists you happen to know of, or did you find them with some kind of search? Because i tried searching, but i ended up getting a lot of average to less than average artists.

    I used to work in a hotel cleaning rooms, found some interesting things, plenty of coke residue, some nasty sexual evidence, a few puddles of bodily fluids, but best of all was the booze. I left work several times with bottles of Makers Mark, JD, etc.

    But you do, dont you? You buy a print of a hand painted peice of art, which the printing machine made. The CNC Machine would just be tattooing a human made design, making a copy onto someones skin. I used several CNC machines in Machine Shop in high school, and made quite a few custom metal peices. All of them were my designs, hand drawn. The machine just takes out the human error in applying it in my mind. I dont think it has to lose any of the soul of the image though. All of that being said, it will be years and years before this is even close to possible, because of the things Jake mentioned.

    Avery Taylor - Immaculate does look really sick, i might make the extra effort to go there, i think it would definately be worth it. Thanks for the other names though, really helpfull.

    I agree with tattoosbyfox. I give everyone a chance, treat everyone i interact with, even the smallest eye-meeting while driving past moments, and then go based on their attitude. If they return the positive attitude we're good, if they dont then they're usually about as meaningfull to me as the rock in the gutter. There are some special cases here though, people who have a good reason to be upset, or ive done something to wrong them somehow.

    Anyone know of any great artists in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Montana, North or South Dakota, or Nebraska? (im from Wyoming, but i can probably get to any of the surrounding states fairly easily, other than that it would be pretty tough.) The closest i found on the list was in AZ, Immaculate Tattoo, which looks incredible but at this point in life it would be pretty tough to get there.

    What can i help with? I found the pictures on bing by simply searching flintlock pistols, and then i used a simple free editing software to copy and flip one, and add in some roses.

    Im thinking of putting Pansies (my mums favorite flowers) in part of a tattoo, and i found plenty of good reference photos and whatnot, but i cant see it making a good tattoo? Just wondering on your opinions of whether or not a Pansy would tattoo well? Mum likes the ones just like the one im attaching a photo of. And also i was just wondering on what people thought about using flowers other than the most common, ie. roses and cherry blossoms and such.

    I was trying to come up with a good design for a flintlock pistol with roses tattoo, but cant decide between these three? Obviously the designs for the actual pistol and roses would be much better, I just grabbed some quick ones off the internet to put these together. So my question is, which of these three do you like better? It would either be on my chest or back, but probably chest i think. I personally like the third the best i think, because it would follow the line of my collarbone nicely i think, and with four roses its almost too busy...

    Lochlan, i would think that it couldnt get any worse than that, but then i remembered seeing this yesterday. Even worse was the fact that i had to go through a few pages of twilight tattoos on Google to find the one i was looking for...

    Cool, thanks for the help. My shoes are loose around the area, so hopefully it will be ok. Cant come out any worse than it already is, i just dont want to waste money if it doesnt work, ya know?

    Well that makes life a lot easier for new kids like me! And it does make for a hell of a tattoo picture gallery, i was pretty damn impressed with that.
