OK so on my half sleeve after shading, I scabbed in some areas and it pulled out some ink. What I did was wear the saran wrap for 3 hours, washed gently with dove free soap, allowed to dry and used curel unscented lotion 2-3 times a day. Not sure what I am gonna try with the color appt in 2 weeks. Any advice? I heard of folks using tegaderm, should I go that route. I used tattoo goo on a small tattoo 12 years ago with no issues but I heard they changed formulas. Also 90 percent healed fine, just a few areas on each of the new 5 tattoos scabbed with one area pulling ink. Picture below shows where scabs were. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk 2

What is the consensus on men getting roses? I have a small open spot and haven't come up with what to fill it with and was thinking a rose, here is the spot. Not really a fan of daggers nor skulls. Any other ideas would be great, thanks Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk 2

I am new here and followed the advice of members here. At first I thought my ideas were better, but when I stepped back I realized they were/are absolutely correct with the advice they gave. That is why I wanted to continue in this thread for any other new onlookers to see the entire progression. I am still wet behind the ears, but every day I come on this forum and just read. I see incredible pieces and learn so much. From when i first started this thread, i am amazed at how much I have learned and still how much I don't know if that makes sense. Anyways let me know how you would feel about just using the blue negative star filler in that area. I have some more pieces I like bit I am saving it for when I possibly go full or 3/4 sleeve as I have my locations picked out and they wouldn't fit in that narrow spot. Well thankfully I went with the advice from all the veterans here. I chose to use Nick Colella. I posted this elsewhere but wanted to keep my progress all in one thread. The pictures below are where I am at and go for color on October 25th. I am so excited I can't wait. I do have one dilemma, I am not sure if I should try to get one more image in the spot between the racing flag and dogs ear in the last picture. I don't really have anything else in mind for this arm and looked at daggers, roses etc and don't think they will mesh will the other tattoos on my arm. I plan n asking Nick his opinion too. When I left, we planned on 2 more sessions. One for color the other for filler. So I have to decide fairly quickly what to do. Picture before last is the filler I planned on asking for. I just started a half sleeve after not being tattooed for 10 years. In the beginning, the lady had me fill out paperwork. On top of the paperwork was a card with instructions. I had to sign saying I read it and understood. I didn't even start my tattoo yet. Once my first appointment was done, the artist said nothing to me regarding care of any sort. Just said stop at the front and pay before you go. I thought that was fine for me. I like the printed sheet and referred back to it to ensure was taking care of my tattoo properly. Didn't burn just was a shock they didn't want to use either A&D or tattoo goo or something. Every other tatto place recommended that, but they stated lotion and that's it. Great Lakes tells people to remove initial bandage after 3 hours. Wash with water and liquid antibacterial soap. Then apply a thin non scented lotion once a day. Nothing else. I am in the process of a half sleeve being done by Nick Colella. It's a bunch of smaller tattoos that are important to me, not really a themed sleeve. I got 6 tattoos outlined and going back end of October for color. I prefer to get it all done at once so it doesn't feel like I am always healing. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk 2
