I rarely get asked if my tats have a meaning, since fhey're pretty much covered, only when I'm on the beach,usually just who done it and how much it cost.They do ask about the things I have written since its in Latin, but I always lie about the meaning because its more fun like that ;). Most of the time, people just stare and comment on how I've ruined my body, and how I'll be sorry when I'm old and shrivelled.

Ok, I have also been to predominantly catholic countries but have had no ill comments. Maybe it's not so much a Catholic, but more of a Cultural thing.

I live in a very conversative country where 90% of population is catholic.I get stared alot and hear people whisper behind my back while I commute to work how I ruined myself but rarely to my face.I do get irked often and turn around and tell them off.There are good days and there are bad ones and I never regretted getting tattooed.

If you like 'among the thugs', 'the football factory' by John King is worth a look.

I used to have to cover the odd match for our national league. Provincial stuff compared to the UK but still idiots galore compared to rugby or Gaelic football matches: What is it about soccer in particular that makes otherwise respectable people want to chuck their seats in the air and break their hands on each others' heads?

I should have mentioned that the movie doesn't do the book any justice what so ever. A lot of stuff got cut out in order to make the movie the length it was and they also couldn't film some of the stuff that was in the book to keep it an R rating.

Haven't finished a book in quite some time now but the last one I read was John Dies at the End by David Wong. It's a horror/comedy that's way out there but friggin awesome. I don't think I've ever laughed out loud so much from just reading a book.

Saw a movie,wasn't much..Should try the book.

Just downloaded 2oo zombie related books and short stories, so I'm gnawing my way through that right now, massive fan of all things horror and SF. I've stopped buying books cause there's nowhere to put them anymore.Great thing I can download books and store em in my online library :P.I don't know many people who read, and I do miss talking about books with someone else.
