  1. kristen - i think carrying on this argument - while interesting - isnt going win anyone over on this forum - first reason is - you got no tatts - so whatcha really doing here besides trying to argue this to death - listen - just chill - surf around - an when you have something cool or interesting to post - including your art - then throw it up - but you gotta chill girl

  2. diversity in your activities is key - especially when you deal with injuries or naggers

i run, bike, paddleboard, longboard skateboard, hike, weights, etc - love to try new stuff outdoors

skateboarding is def tough - i just picked it up a year ago and have some mean falls

    @43 -slamming asphalt suuuuuuuuucks

heal up and enjoy some new stuff

  3. Oh man, I scratched my 1 day old tattoo today. I work in a chocolate factory, and often have scratches and bruises from working, but I've been pretty lucky and hadn't injured any fresh tattoos...until today. A layer of skin came off, just a small bit, but I think it'll require touch ups :(. Good thing I plan on going back to Franz in a month or two!

who knew the chocolate industry was such a bloodsport :)

  4. Got back home yesterday after a week long kid's camp. My oldest son attends and so for the last 5 years I've volunteered so I'm there to support him if he needs it. I am pretty tired and I have very little voice left, but I have no regrets.

On a (very slightly) less awesome note, I wore long pants all week in case any of the children were frightened of panthers; and to avoid offending any of my fellow volunteers (it's a christian camp).

that panther is awesome and probably the kids (being kids) woulda said whoah! cool!

but i respect your reasons for covering - i work in a primary school and i stay covered (long pants on field day!) for a few different reasons - most importantly keeping said job :)

edit: and glad you had a good time at the camp - i have a 12,9,7 and the grow quick - we gotta take what we can get while they can stand being around us!

  5. i think the format is good but yeah unfortunately they cast for drama - it seemed each season had at least a half dozen folks who shouldnt be tattooing - let alone in a competition - but - thats reality tv i guess and imo some really nice tattoos get put out each week - there's not a lot on tv that touches the tattoo realm - or am i missing something

  6. core stuff for a week for me after new ink

i think i usually need the break as i dont have many off days

but i gotta do something physical every day

like running, cycling, SUP, skateboard, weights, hiking - anything really that gets you moving and sweating

though i will say slamming into asphalt really sucks when you're 43 so i try to keep my skating to flat paved cruising and carving

  7. haha - never have sen the show - however - i must confess that the tattoo that inspired this one was apparently inspired from said show

i just saw the picture and thought it was so odd and cool

plus i am a coffee addicted fool

anyway - my explanation of my reasoning for getting this tattoo was just that i liked the image

odd funny interesting are my main rules of engagement :)

  8. probably a different view on this show than most

i power watched all the seasons this summer

and will def tune in for season 5

i'm not sure i see the harm in it

    i think its entertaining

    love peck, nunez...eh

i think navarro does well in his role

he doesnt try to be an expert

    he reps the client persepctive

after watching almost all of scott sylvia's interviews (amazing stuff)

i do get the other side of the coin on this stuff like this

but anyway - i enjoy the show as well as the LA, miami, ny ink series
