renee87
Hello I am new here this looks like a good place to learn more about tattoos and proper care of them so I thought I would join. I just got my dolphin tattoo added onto Friday so the tattoo is 4 days old except the dolphins in it. I started out using equate a&D ointment then it says patroilum in it. Then Ended up getting tattoo goo aftercare kit. First question which one of the tattoo goo is the best for new new tattoos got two things that say tattoo goo on them I got tattoo goo aftercare lotion and tattoo goo origional thats in a small round tin. Tattoo isn't really starting to peal that I have noticed is that a bad thing? Anyhow, here is the tattoo: I hope that yellow lightens up a little! Btw the dolphins are not a picture of real live dolphins. I do think the eyes on them could look better though.
gougetheeyes
The healing of your tattoo looks fine. You can just use a thin layer of regular, non-scented lotion, no need to get special aftercare stuff. I'm not very familiar with the tattoo goo products but whichever one is closest to a lotion is what you should use.. though that's just a guess. Mark Bee
I always advocate for the dry heal. Keep it clean and dry and let your body do the work. There are a number of threads on the forum that deal with the debate between dry heal and other methods. For many of us it's trial and error. Go with whatever works best for you. beez
