Hello from canada, need opinions on new tatoo

hello from vancouver, I have been lurking for the last few days and decided I should make an intro post. At 29 I decided to get my first tattoo of my dog about 2 weeks ago. Healing part was ok except for one night while sleeping I subconsciously decided it was a good idea to scratch the living hell out my itchy arm :( In the moment the size looked good but now it feels abit small on my big arms (but on the bright side, room for more ink on that arm). I would love some opinions on my next tattoo on my other arm (3/4 sleeve)

For years I always wanted a tattoo of the monkey king sun wukong but didn't end up doing it various reasons until I saw a tattoo by Adam Sky and I was floored, it was everything I envisioned and more. http://i.imgur.com/h83x597.jpg

Turns out he is available and I will be flying down for a consultation + first sitting in about a month. I know getting the same design done is a nono so my question is what do you guys think I should do in terms of design. Ideally i would love to have the monkey king and foo dog.

As for my big arms, should I add in an oni mask inner bicep or would that clash since japanese vs chinese styles

Thanks for the tips guys. Joe I am already committed with Adam for this arm but will Def contact your suggestions for my other arm I'm planning on doing next year :)
