  1. @Tornado7 I tried to take a photo of my new dragon which is definitely not cute. Still scaly AF and not healed yet. LOL.
  2. But you are soooo close! C'mon...let's hang! @suburbanxcore
  3. Agree with @Synesthesia 100%. Talk to your artist about planning out your pieces. And Matthew Houston's work is so beautiful!
  4. @SStu Balance is so elusive. I'm rocking only an outline on my left thigh (hip to knee) until August! Being a WIP is just like life, I suppose. Enjoy your destination wedding. Sounds like fun!
  5. Cool! It's a great hang. @oboogie And there's a place for breakfast that's SO DELICIOUS!
  6. On Saturday, I have an appointment to finish my hare/dragon kite! Then I'll be down to only one unfinished piece on my body. I feel so unbalanced. Isn't funny how something so unimportant in the grand scheme of things can mess with your head?
  7. Hey @Emil...yes, that's me. :) We went to Kul for dinner on his recommendation. It was *amazing*. We did the five course with a cocktail pairing...OMG. The bartender is a 2017 Danish Bartender Master (or something like that). Her cocktails were the best that I've ever had! I have photos posted on my IG page (just_a_bad_penny).
  8. @oboogie The entire trip was so easy! Copenhagen is a great city with endless amounts of things to do. For me, it was an interesting mix of new, old and "I wonder how old that is?'. The trip to Helsingor is about 40 minutes by train. Helsingor is a darling, sleepy little coastal charm filled with charm. Royal is a cool shop with two floors (street level and basement type setup). Henning was, not surprisingly, awesome!! I was there from 11:15 to 5:30'ish. I think total needle time was around five hours but I kinda lost track. The entire crew was so cool, welcoming and full of hospitality. They fed me lunch, helped me make dinner reservations at a killer restaurant and sent me home with a ton of swag. It was pretty much a perfect day! I LOVE my new piece. The only downside was that I discovered when I looked at the photo he posted on IG was that I had some F***ing contact dermatitis funk on my back. I'm still horrified. FFS!
  9. Those are awesome @Hands On. Do you have a favorite?
  10. Hey there, welcome. My two cents: take the concept to your artist and let them figure out how to execute it. You will most likely be given feedback on what will work and what won't. You'll need to figure out what in the design is most important to you which will help drive the final design. Let the artist work out the concept using their style which in the end should result in a cool piece. Good luck!
  11. I'd still give the artist something in both situations. How much is up to you. This is an odd one with the barter and the touchup but I'd still do something either in cash or a little gift. Some token of appreciation I think would be a nice gesture.
  12. Me, I'd totally be on my way to the doctor! @oboogie
  13. I'm excited for you! Looking forward to seeing what ya get from Grez. :)
  14. Does it itch? Feel hot? Are those blisters or bumps?
  15. Yep, like others have said get the tattoo!
  16. Back from our trip to Helsingor! I'll post a photo when I'm healed. I cannot say enough GREAT things about Henning and the crew at Royal. One of the most perfect days, ever!!
  17. Miah Waska from early 2014...it's mellowed so beautifully! (Pardon the mange, It was fresh!)
  18. Well, I dropped by the shop Feb of 2016 to get on his list and was told it was a three year wait! @Oiocha
  19. Sweet. I'm guessing the first appt is for the outline and the second is for the shading. How big is the piece? @Oiocha I'm now a year and a half into the waitlist...
