  1. I'm pretty allergic but don't get the abscesses/ulcers only giant, itchy red spots. Last night, I broke down and put some hydrocortisone on the area. Had too. I don't trust myself when I sleep not to scratch the hell out of them. I'll be fine but had to rant. :) @Paulus @Devious6
  2. Apparently, mosquitos like freshly healing tattoos. 30 minutes outside and boom, I have six bites IN my new tattoo. I'm just a little more than annoyed.
  3. Whoa....so glad that you are okay. Thank goodness you were wearing all of your gear - especially your helmet! Sorry about the bike. That sucks. Hope that you are feeling better by the time that you read this message! @pidjones
  4. Appointment for early Feb made with Paul Dobleman. *squee*
  5. It's totally addicting! My wrist tattoo didn't hurt at all yet I've talked to more than one person (as recently as last night) that said it was their most painful spot. Welcome to the wonderful world of tattooing! Next, we'll be talking about your healing experience which is massively variable, too. :) Get what you want. You'll figure it out. (PS - I'm lasering my wrist tattoo, which was my first, so I can get it covered up with something awesome.)
  6. Mark, wow... I really want to hug you right now. @Devious6
  7. Ha! @Devious6 I very quickly mentioned my October trip to my hubby. I don't know if he caught it or not but I DID mention it! *covered* I can only imagine your emotions. Your adrenaline will be massive... Super stoked for you!
  8. OMG, I have one spot that is so itchy. I can't stand it. One little spot. Someone tie my hands together so I don't scratch it. Considering I had a good amount of real estate tattooed recently, I'm blessed but this one spot is making me mental.
  9. @Guerillaneedles I LOVE the Wendy piece. Hard. She's on my list for sure! @oboogie Meh, can't please everyone. Killer work.
  10. Totally love the Cash piece, @oboogie! I'm team tegaderm/saniderm as well. One week later, mild flaking and no itching for this girl. One of my pieces didn't even flake/peel/nothing. Score!
  11. Yeah, you are in his rotation. Score! UGH, I am patiently waiting. For like 2.5 more years, not that I'm counting. Okay, I'm totally counting. :) I stopped into the shop in January to buy some prints which he signed for me. Are you a local or semi-local? @Lance
  12. Good luck @oboogie! You have an amazing collection. Looking forward to seeing your new piece!
  13. I'm going on the record saying butt tattoos hurt. My cheek started to involuntarily twitch at one point. Oops.
  14. Mike did my shi-shi. And DUDE, I saw your mon mon cat on IG. I love it hard. Is it in color or B/G? I'm on his wait list...how long did you wait or are you in his rotation?
  15. Hi there. I don't know about Ithaca but going into the city is a gold mine...
  16. My evil plan is to have Henning fill in the space opposite Grez's fall piece with winter and spring botanicals. Mike offered to add more fingerwaves around the fall piece to tie it all together. I'm silly happy. @sophistre
  17. Ha. Thanks @omeletta and @Devious6. It was my own tattoo Olympics. Other than being a little tender, it was easy.
  18. @Patrick Bateman Check out the lowdown thread for photos. It was an *awesome* weekend!
  19. Pagoda was good... Peony by Rubendall, fall botanicals by Grez, Sailor Jerry swallows by Scott and filler peacock feather by Virginia Elwood. Sorry that the color saturations are all over the place (the peony and feather look pretty normal). Butt tattoos hurt!!
