  1. Bad filtered photo but my wife and I got matching Smashing Pumpkins hearts a couple years ago right around the time of our birthdays (we're ten days apart). There will definitely be more to come..
  2. Just also realized this was on your torso and not your back. DAMN DUDE!
  3. YES. Following 'em on instagram under lostlovebook for updates.

    Boom.

I think the best part of this intro is the feeling that I'm getting lately from LST and the rest of the tattooed world, that -- sorry, gonna get real emotional here -- as a wearer of tattoos, you wear them through your life and it becomes part of your journey. And sometimes it's flipped -- you go on your tattoo walkabout when you're a little more flush with cash and they can become the catalyst for travel, friends, for your life. That it's all intertwined. And shit, most of us on here don't even do this for a job. The other best part is obviously your Trevino tattoos and your killer appointments coming up. WELCOME, GODDAMNIT!
  5. Are you at Lark in Albany? You do some nice work man.
  6. @G.Uristti should be able to make it unless my schedule changes! Also, I just noticed you spelled your own name wrong.
  7. Very nice dude, welcome!
  8. Welcome dude. Bill Cohen does a similar thing with his Tattoosday blog: Tattoosday (A Tattoo Blog) Good luck with it but I would refrain from referring to people as canvasses! And remember that not everyone will want to share. Have any tattoos yourself?
  9. @semele I've got a bailey buffalo as well -- come out to the next NYC meetup!
  10. Welcome dude! Sounds like it's been a long road but glad you're here. When's the first appointment?
  11. I truly don't think you'll have a problem finding someone who is a professional. I'll agree with @HaydenRose that if you're able to set something up prior to the appointment simply to discuss the design and where you're coming from that there shouldn't be a problem. Have you been tattooed before? Maybe @jayessebee can lend some insight.
  12. Ha! I always called it a "bedspread" when I was a kid, but at some point it seems everyone just started calling them comforters. Which is a weird, weird term. I also take issue with "hoodie" and "beanie" but none of this has anything to do with what this thread is about..
  13. Can we all just step back for two seconds here? Oh, just getting rad tattoos from Grez, Henning, McStay, Stewart.. @dari good to see you posting again! @Reyeslv nice blackbutt, @slayer longest knee of all time! That devil's got a Spider Murphy's feel to it.. @xmowglix she is purty. @Deb Yarian saw your updates from SF looks like you had a blast! And @everyone you guys are all my heroes.

    New Guy!

    Doin' it right! Welcome dude.
  15. From tiny jellyfish, to bad ass firebird. Nice job! And welcome.
  16. Nice @trill been noticing a ton of boxer babes lately, too. My wife got one from Virginia the same week she just happened to do two others. Next trend: lady owl boxers with wolf hats and monocles and geometric patterns.
  17. Get a brand new tattoo somewhere else -- then you'll stop obsessing!
  18. Whoa dude! Normally I feel like tattoos like this (traditional-looking combo of stuff) don't work out but this kills! I follow one Heather Bailey of Spider Murphy's work and, along with some fun darker images, she incorporates a lot of mooooonz. One day I will get to that shop.. Until then, check it: HEATHER BAILEY - - - Updated - - - @hogg have you been tattooed by her or just Paul?
  19. The "ex-lurker" title means you're a new member, just a little joke there bud. It'll change with your post counts. For example, other members are "contributors" and, for example, if you win our monthly tattoo contest, "contest winner."
  20. From quotes to the other extreme: inkblots! Definitely a pretty original idea, but the finished product might look exactly like that.. a bunch of blobby black that you may end up regretting as much as the original quotes. Tattoos don't need to be literal. That's why you can get a reaper and have it mean death or life or party time or nothing at all. If you're going for full arm coverage start checking out some large-scale work. LST is a great place to start.. Maybe start with a portrait of Rorschach himself if you're really into it. I mean, he's not an unattractive man: Hermann Rorschach - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  21. Welcome dude, trying to keep it as legit as possible.
