  4. i have been dabbling in doing some reserch in my area of the woods for a few years..atoria was from a town about 30 north of where i am..spokane washington..she lived in colville(this has been reserched by others and posted on many pages already) ...as soon as things settle down a bit with my shop i want to dive further into this..red gibbons worked here in spokane at an arcade which i'm pretty sure i have the adress for somewhere...i need to hit up the library and records department for all the business in spokane...this stuff is so fascinating once you actually get into it...especially in towns that are not meccas for tattooing per say.thanks shane for the post...guys like you are whats keeping this alive for my generation

  6. luke is definitely a stand up guy! i had the pleasure of getting tattooed by him while on my honeymoon in florida...he used to go beteween his shop Lucky's in san diego and 305 ink (miami ink) every few weeks...anyways..he was super cool with me and definitely gave me the homie hook up down there...3 hour tattoo for $300...i think shop rate was like $200hr...i have a friend who co-owns lucky's with him and a few friends that have worked there for them...rad guys...rad shop!! i feel at home as soon as i get there when io do guest spots. if any of you ever get the chance to get tattooed by him, do it! i want a few more pieces from him sometime. sorry for the creamy man thigh this early in the morning..hahah tattoo is about 4 1/2 yrs old now.
  7. another great one has passed on to be with the tattoo gods out there watching over us. i just read it on FB, so i do not know the details. wish i could've met him when i visited san jose a while back.
  8. anything from demonstrate my style...one of the best hardcore bands ever!
  9. man ...this shit just pisses me off the more i hear about it... i pretty much refuse to fly with my family...i dont want some jerk off looking at my wife thru that shit, let alone some closet pedofile looking at my young kids. talk about invasion of privacy. i guarantee there will be a rebellion or something as a result of this shit. people are not going to take it for much longer. what long term effects do these machines have on people? it is an xray right..so there is radiation involved. whats next??? microchips in our ID cards...whoops already done..they can track you anywhere you go now...police state here we come..move over nazi germany...here comes america the free, home of the slave!
  10. me and a buddy were talking about machines the other day. i recently aquired an "original" percy waters machine. the previous owner said that he did bastardize it because the vise sucked...!!!!!! wtf!!!! so they chopped it off and just put a new on where the yoke would be(brass)..i asked him what else had been done to it..he said nothing that he knew of except for springs...well that got me to thinking..this machine has a capacitor..waters died in 1952 if i am correct...when did the first capacitors appear on machines?? i thought it was late 60s or 70s but i cant remember who or if that's even close to right...one step closer to that free shirt!! whoo hoo!!!

  17. kids up at 5am this morning for some reason, gonna be a looong day...today we put up the wood paneling and baseboards..should be the last day of construction, if not tomorrow will be. then on to moving in a decorating!!! yeee haww! my little ones are almost 4(daughter) and 1 1/2(son)...they love going down there and seeing it. as far as a balance, my wife works fulltime and is finishing her bachelors degree in a few quarters...so not much balance right now..doing what we need to do i guess...i take care of the kids except for 2 days out of the week (thanks god for grandparents) then when she gets home i go into work..i only work a total of about 4 days a week right now which was wierd for me to adjust to. i like working and being at the shop...but i get to raise my kids which is rad too! i am not really into childcare or babysitters(except family) and i dont want someone else raising my kids..so i pack all i can into those 4 days of work...seem to keep pretty busy..i was "released" from a streetshop when i started getting the ball rolling on my shop..luckily i had a dude that was cool with putting me up at his shop..he has an extra station in his private studio...didnt think i had that much clientel..kinda cool to see. well enough rambling for this morning..time to wake the wifey up so i can go back to bed for a few hours. i will post pics tonight of the shop. thank you all for being interested in it, really cool. hambone
