  1. Yes! All 3 of the Big cats at once! That is a priceless idea.
  2. Based on that reference and what you got I think you were asking the wrong artist to do that style. Its also a bunch of thick bold B&G trad pieces around it. All things considered I think that the person did a good job of putting something in theme for your arm, it has a simple folk kind of american traditional vibe. Personally based on the reference if you want small details then you need to get a big tattoo not a small arm banger, your reference is detailed to be a whole thigh or chest even.
  3. Wednesday and Thursdays are now my tattoo media days. Books Closed on Wednesday (Tomorrow is the Steve Byrne episode I've been looking forward to) and then Tattoo Age is out on the interwebs on Thursdays.
  4. They did an amazing job and the episode was great. There was a quick peak of my back drawing indeed, I had a small moment to myself at work, I held in the excitement. it definitely feels like each episode could fill out an hour and a half easy.
  5. The episodes are on Viceland TV website the day after they air. Horitomo's and Taki's episode were basically as calm and reserved as they are in the shop, in my opinion at least.
  6. I had to do some route setting for my University within a week of getting the Steve Byrne piece I got. That was tough to keep clean and it was sore and itchy the whole way; chalk, dirt, sweat, and vinegar literally everywhere. I'm always amazed at the tattoos you get, where you get them, and the travelling you do! You and that tattoo kick butt!
  7. I don't have the time or money to be hearing this! I have to finish with Tomo first!! 😆
  8. Kiku is such a goof ball, he is so high on my damn list and now I just want to hang out with him.
  9. Even if they move shop they usually come back and visit. If its not too far just go get it done with them, you'll both appreciate going out of the way to get AT LEAST one last piece done together.
  10. Hey maybe we'll run into each other, I'm hoping to go for my birthday in October!
  11. I saw a certain someone's new tattoo on the gram today on a certain artist's page. @Gingerninja Can't wait to see it settled in but wanted to be the first to say your California trip was otherworldly in terms of amazement from an outside view.
  12. That is going to be one hell of a weekend. One day maybe in a year or two once I have some money saved up I will go to Pagoda or Bay Area con! Kerley has been on my list for some time and I was sad to see him jump coasts before I could get to him, although my track record shows that being on the other coast doesnt really stop me.
  13. Thanks everyone, I'm okay, just going through the usual stuff that goes with it. The healing on the tattoo is super fast so I'm pretty happy! I'm already peeling and itchy so it shouldnt be but a few more days until it gets to start settling in.
  14. Machine! Everything so far has been machine.
  15. Thanks guys! It was a rough weekend, if I'm allowed to over share I got broken up with while I was out there, and woke up today at 6:00am to go get poked by the dentist. So having Horitomo be so nice and get so much work done was a real pick me up! He was super excited that I finally came back and he gets to work on both a back piece and a Monmon piece. Shading is so incredibly easy in comparison to the lines, its almost silly how much easier it is. I hope it stays easy to get shading.
  16. Here is what we got done this weekend. Here is what we had before.
  17. <10 days until I finally get back to Horitomo! Happy but nervous about pain tolerance, hopefully we'll make some good progress!
  18. @Makmak woah thats really red! might want to seriously talk to your artist about what products to use and how to keep your tattoos from getting so angry (hygiene, aftercare, brands to use for said care). Secondly go to a dermatologist, any number of things could have happened or you might just be using something that is irritating the tattoo/skin.
  19. I can't wait for the days where I can do that with my partner.
  20. give it time. listen to them if you felt like they were worth the money to put it there, they are worth the money to listen to.
  21. image from Steve's Instagram of my new baby. That man FLIES through tattoos and is the largest man I've met in my whole life. Sweet as a peach, warm, intelligent, socialite at the convention and artistic and brilliant (in my opinion)
  22. First this isn't the thread for this kind of question. Second the time passed between photos is unclear, at least to me. The first photo looks like a standard fresh and angry tattoo. I think you might not have followed the aftercare instructions for it to look like that. Lastly go to your artist and then possibly a medical professional, if you are worried ask them, we aren't professionals and we don't know what you did for aftercare.
