  1. @dcostello that's because rancid is great! haha and thanks for mentioning the horrible crows, i was out of the loop on that getting released so went and picked it up. i've already listened to it several times today.
  2. crispy shrimp hunan style, rice, vegetable spring rolls, and oolong tea
  3. yeah, its great. for sure the 157min version is the one to see. and i believe you are correct about the first european setting
  4. well, the website is totally worth checking out! hahaha! YTMND - Join the National Waffle Association
  5. have you seen duck you sucker? a buddy let me borrow it after we watched once upon a time in the west.
  6. a vegan place that serves cheese? sounds like a totally modern southern style meal though, i swear ive got to make it to california sometime. it feels like the bay area has been calling me my whole life for dinner i had bob evans; sausage, biscuits, eggs, hashbrowns, coffee and a snickerdoodle cookie.
  7. it was tim hendricks and i think sometimes you don't know that you've stepped in shit until you smell it and the next time you walk through the yard, you are more aware and trying to avoid stepping in it. lesson learned, and youre never to old to learn and usually the best way to learn is from a mistake.
  8. haha, chickenfoot! the only radio i'll listen to is npr. otherwise, it will be silence if something has gone awry with my cd player/ipod/etc. in relation to that, the lid on this little boom box i've been using while doing work on the house for some reason wouldn't stay closed so i had to tape it shut to get it to work and untape/retape it everytime i wanted to change a cd. since im preparing to move i don't have a lot of cds that i didn't pack and couldnt use the ipod because it doesnt have anywhere for it to plug in....so i listened to off with their heads-in desolation on repeat for the first couple of hours, then the draft-in a million pieces on repeat for a few hours, and finished it off with a storm of light-a we wept the black oceans within for several hours.
  9. the guy i work with saw them at a small theatre a couple years back and then a month ago when they opened for return to forever. didn't have the cash to go to either show but he said it was pretty incredible.

    Hi from Ohio

    greetings! what part of ohio?
  14. haha, no way! this girl was an engineering major. i suppose the triforce could be a simplified version of it. i've gotten to do quite a few triforce/zelda tattoos, actually tomorrow i'm doing a link tattoo on a guy who i put a ganondorf on last year. i'm actually surprised at just how many zelda tattoos i do each year.
  15. i had someone ask for a sierpinski triangle, i didn't turn it down but when she didn't show back up to get it later i wasn't totally bummed out. i've done some other crazy geometric stuff and i've realized that i need to take the ibuprofen before i start the tattoo.
  16. there's a lot of other mention worthy weirdness that happened at that show, hahaha. the shirt i got from that show is on it's last leg, sleeves have completed detached and now several holes are starting to spread with each time i wear it. the meatking records design that was on the back is completely gone. todays playlist is all psychobilly the meteors-wrecking crew tiger army-all heartbreak engines-all creepshow-all the brains-all nekromantix-random tracks from each album mad sin-newest album chop tops-all the cramps-all koffin kats-inhumane frantic flintstones-raucaus years demented are go-in sickness and in health charlie horse-unholy roller
  17. if it makes you feel any better, i grew up with folks just like that in the north georgia. and at the moment, i'm surrounded by them daily here in ohio. nothing but copious amounts of doom metal and hillbilly country music can cure any depression you might feel.
  18. a brief history of touchdown jesus, it was built in front of the solid rock church (a church that has had known ties to a horse farm directly across I-75 that was a front for running cocaine) just north of cincinnati and i remember the first time i saw it all i could think was "touchdown!!" apparently i'm not the only one that thought that. well, last year touchdown jesus was struck by lightning and burnt to the ground. a beautiful sight!
  19. nice! the meatmen!! sidestory about seeing them in atlanta, at one point during the show after shooting large blasts of fire across the ceiling of the club tesco vee had a giant 5 foot strap-on that shot confetti out into the crowd. i can remember going to shows at the same club for years after and every once in awhile just the right about of sonic force from whoever was playing would cause some of that same confetti to rain down from the rafters. each time this would happen it would bring me right back to the memory of him blasting it out of that giant strap-on.
