  1. I literally just went down to Frith Street last friday to book in for my first tattoo with Jordan. Gutted to hear about this. I got a phone call from the shop this morning explaining what had happened. Super impressed at how quickly they thought to let customers know in what must be a really difficult situation. Although I haven't met jordan yet, I wish him a speedy recovery. I'm willing to wait as long as it takes for him to be back and healthy so I can a great tattoo, even if I fill up the rest of my arm around the spot I've got saved! Jay.
  2. I'm kind of collecting lady heads from different artists. As it's been mentioned by others, I love the fact that such a classic design can be interpreted so differently person to person. I have 4 so far. Here are 2, one of them is the classic Bob Wicks flash - both by Matty D'Arienzo (both taken right after). The other 2 are a girl from valerie vargas and a girl head/butterfly from El Bara. On my list for others are steve boltz, jordan teear, virginia elwood, nick collela, pretty much anyone at spider murphys (that's a hell of a lot of travelling though so it'll take a while!)
  3. Here's a T-Rex on the back my girlfriend's calf. I think it's pretty much her favourite tattoo. Done by Matty D'Arienzo from Melbourne AUS when he was in London. This was taken straight after so it's a bit angry. I love it!
  4. Hi I'm Jay, originally from London but have lived by the sea in Brighton the last 4 years. Hi to everyone here, it seems like a great community! I have been lurking and reading the forums for a good year or so but thought I would set up a new account to actually start getting involved and posting. I'm 26 this year and have been getting tattooed since I turned 18. I have always loved american traditional work and have (as I'm sure many do) a long list of tattooers I hope to get tattooed by in the future. So far I have work from Valerie Vargas at Frith Street, El Bara from Madrid, Matty D'Arienzo, Sarah Schor, John Raftery from NYC, some small work from Lynn Akura and Bob Done at Magnum Opus here in Brighton and some various other bits and pieces along the way. I'll try and get some pics up soon. As you can tell I'm not afraid to travel for my tattoos and hope to make some overseas trips in the very near future. I look forward to meeting you all! Jay.
