In about a month I start a backpeice cover-up with Chris O'Donnell. Panther fighting a tiger. I'm really really really excited to see what he comes up with.

is it bad that there are seriously a ton of tattooers that i want to get tattooed by?

Anyone get tattoo zits? Not worried about it -- as I figure the ink is under a deeper layer of skin. But it is kinda gross. Too much information?

the get the most heinous, big, gross zits. they're usually exclusively on the outline about a week after a get tattooed. shit's weird. although, i love popping them once my tattoo is healed.

i don't know if this should be in this thread or not, but i've spent probably the most i've ever spent on my family for christmas this year. super excited for them to all get their gifts. the only bummer is that i probably have to push getting tattooed back a month or so, but it's totally worth it.

my family is fucking huge. i'm good on that front.

my brother has a really bad collection of tattoos. he recently told me that he wanted to go to a local shop on long island to get a samurai tattoo done. i quickly talked him out of it. i'm getting him a gift certificate to kings ave for christmas. so excited for him to get it.

well, guys, i watched the last 3 or 4 episodes and my mind has been changed. this show is amazing for one reason : seeing these turds get bashed by nunez, peck and the guest judges. i loved how forest cavacco told that nerd he had no respect for him since he had no tattoos.

What about the last episode when the jackass with no tattoos had everyone draw them on him after the judges ripped him for it.

the looks on their faces when he walked out with his sleeves rolled to his shoulders was excellent. i would have to think that the quality tattooers that they have come on as guest judges, oliver peck, and chris nunez must talk so much shit on the contestants.

So many cool shops and tattooers in San Fran. I'm partial to FTW because of Eric Saner, who is from Rochester, Aidan Monahan (who also tattooed in Rochester) and Jason Phillips, both of which I've interviewed and are really awesome and nice dudes.

when watching the few episodes that i've watched, i was blown away how many of these chumps had so little tattoos. i couldn't believe it. how the hell can you be a tattooer and not have a bunch of tattoos? makes absolutely no sense to me. it's like a hitting coach trying to teach someone to bat that's never made it to the majors.

Yeah, I've seen some nice stuff out of Sacred Heart...

The Dutchman is one of the biggest names out here, as was Dave Shore who, unfortunately, passed away earlier this year.

Like most places nowadays, there are way too many shops to keep track of. What style are you interested in?

I know of Matt Houston, Mitch Kirilo and Geoff McCann, but that's about it. Chris Hold from Sacred Heart looks like he does some quality tattoos.

Who are some good tattooers in Vancouver? I know about Matt Houston at Gastown. But, other than that, I don't really know of any other good tattooers from that city.
