Yes I had Chris odonnell extend it. He added pink peonies, a skull, and background. Flows nicely. You can see the back part of that arm in my backpiece photos.

There is some creepy stuff on google image if you search "owl mouth" and owls are sorta creepy all on their own.

japanese tattoos have a lot of elements that are pretty darn close to "blackout". Wind bars, rocks, black scaled koi, etc. you might have more options than you think.
