  1. I have done GVT before and I think one of things I really liked was how simple it is. Sometimes in my regular routine it gets hectic with the different excersises, then the different schedules and schemes, then the different excersises/schedule/shcemes all on one day. I think I am going to throw in 10x10 laying leg curls on every other leg day for the next six weeks and 10x10 close grip pulldowns on back day every other week. If I like it I will add it to my regular schedule.
  2. Is the brother in question in the States?

    Hello

Don't listen to these guys....you want King Carlos in Stockholm... :)
  4. As a few stated...no politics seems like a good idea. Even the two most logical people can lose their shit when it comes to politics. Nobody ever admits they could be wrong and everyone feels like who they support is the best. I do have a clear political preference and it closely follows my internal beliefs.
  5. Front squats are probably the most overlooked leg excersise ever. They can be brutal. I like the idea of front squat 10x10s....
  6. Kim is an absolute doll. Kore is also about the most professional, passionate, real, respectful dude around. I start a full back/ass/right leg project with Kore in January. Please post up pics of the work when you start man!

    Hello

Calle at King Carlos in Stockholm is amazing. If I was to travel out of the States to get tattooed it would be Shige or Calle.
  8. I started building my next six weeks of schedule and am working in GVT on legs every other week. If you go heavy enough on legs, high volume can be hell, I have thrown up once or twice doing 30+ rep sets of squats. As long as you can maintain your form, high reps is good sometimes. Does anyone have a particular GVT set-up they like for legs?
  9. Welcome dood! Good luck in your apprenticeship.
  10. If I was 19 again and knew what I know now...I would save my money until you can afford exactly what you want from who you want. There is no hurry to get covered...your skin will be there forever! If you wait and think things through you will be so much happier with your tattoos and you will avoid problems like covering shitty stuff and laser removal. I have went through both and laser removal is a physcial pain, and coverups are just a pain in the ass. @David Flores You are completely right about traveling to get tattooed. Half of the experience is just taking the trip and visiting a new place. With Colby being in the proximity of San Fran...I would absolutely take advantage of that. Many of the best in the world located in San Fran.
  11. Some of the best Japanese style tattooers in the world are in the States. I am positive you could get someone to compose a design very close to what you want.
  12. [quote name=I don't like that style' date='but they are very talented at what they do.Here's some more guy's who do that style well. MARCO VELAZQUEZ Bodyworks Tattoo Studio - Home Chris Reed Tattoo Sean Sullivan Thanks for the link. I will check them out. Someone reminded me how awesome Mike Cole is last night as well. I may have to do some more research on him. I know some people that love that style. I'm just not one of them. Same thing with Grime...I really respect the level of his work...but it is to much like a skate graphic for me. I am getting a variation of a Tibetan skull on my back. Really big, from neck to ass, water, possibly some roses down closer to the ass. He is doing my right leg as well. Awesome shit planned for the whole project. My local artist is actually starting his back with Kore at the same time as me. We are going to brainstorm on what we want to do with my sides to connect my front and back when we go down to PluraBella.
  13. Wait...I forgot Jeff Gogue works their....I meant one of the best in the world.
  14. In Flames. Machine Head. Heaven Shall Burn. Hammerfall. Every Time I Die. At The Gates. Chimaira. Parkway Drive. Times Of Grace. Gojira. No specific order.....it's everything im on right now.
  15. I had issues with an a skin condition I didn't even know I had. Almost thought I had a pigment allergy. the chances of an allergy are very very small though. My guess is that it isn't an allergy. As Slayer said, If we can see pictures...advice can be given.
  16. If you are willing to travel Off The Map Tattoo in Grants Pass, OR is one of the best shops in the Northwest. Otherwise I am sure that Boise has plenty of people who do solid work. Good luck in your tattoo experiences. Welcome to the boards!
  17. I will look at their stuff. First impression is a looks a little too much like a 80s skate deck graphic style. I will do some more looking at Lango though.
