  1. New Look is also where I'm going . . . so you might want to start getting geared up for it not being available any more . . .

I purchase Dr. Numb off of amazon and have my wife apply it about an hour and a half before my appointment. I will probably continue to use it, even though they don't offer it. You should have said that you chose New Look, because we could have both gotten half off one treatment with there referral program.

  2. whoa. that sounds next level. what the hell does it mean? otherwise, how are the treatments coming along?

Treatments are going as well as can be expected and I'm happy with the results so far. I plan on posting a thread when I'm done, since I don't take pictures on my own. I'm going to have the clinic email me the pictures since they take one before every treatment. I also had some gnarly blisters about the size of yours that appeared only after my first treatment. Having five tattoos done is a pain, but I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.

  3. Hooper is moving to Austin and will be at rock of ages. That is why he is not taking new clients, probably. Don't know when he will be here full time but it has been around since November that he is moving to Austin. Talk to dryfess. Oh, and hooper will be co owner of rock of ages with Steve Byrne and tony Hundahl. He has signed on a house too!

This just put a big smile on my face. Thanks for brightening my day.

  4. napalm, about the blackout- wow, youre not kidding me man! was your swelling the type of swelling i was describing above?

My swelling was just as you described, and I'm definitely in a good mood after every treatment. I have an appointment for my next treatment on the 28th and will probably look into fade fast after that.

  5. My arm was swollen after my last treatment, but I don't blister anymore. The pain is going to be different for everyone and depends on their pain tolerance. I've witnessed someone crying in the waiting room after a treatment. I'm glad you decided to go through with the process, instead of blacking out your arm. I've been thinking of taking a trip to Dallas, due to all the positive reviews.

  6. Thanks for posting this. I found LST because of your laser removal thread. I just had my third session on Thursday and these pics let me know it will all be worth it. Amazing!

took this picture yesterday 4th day of healing already peeled

SF trip was better than i could have ever expected or deserved.

found LST(pic 1) got great advice (pic 2) listened to said advice !(pic 3)

  7. Four of my tattoos are about the size of my hand laid flat from wrist to finger tips, and one is about double that size across my shoulders. They are all black and I break them down into two separate sessions. I go one month for three ($350) and the next month for two ($250). My treatments on each tattoo are eight weeks apart. I was quoted $150 a piece for each tattoo, but get a discount for multiples at once. I definitely wouldn't drink any alcohol before because of the bleeding.

  8. I'm currently in the process of having five tattoos removed. I had three sessions before I started using numbing cream and now wished I had used it from the beginning. The difference is night and day. The thing that most people don't warn you about is the itching. It wakes me up in the middle of the night sometimes. As far as nutrition, I just make sure to drink plenty of water and take a multivitamin. I'm a nonsmoker btw.

  9. I've had blistering and bleeding, but healed fine before my second session. I space my sessions out every eight weeks. It definitely smells like something is burning during the treatment and afterwards feels like a major sunburn for about two hours.

  10. They were done back when Moms was open in Beaumont. Couldn't tell you the name of the tattooer. I got them all within a weeks time and have had two laser sessions on three of them and go for my second on the other two tomorrow.

  11. Haha thanks. N.Beavers is back in Houston at his private studio Epoch Tattoo and L.Cook is in Dallas at Rebel Muse. The five tattoos I have are about 12 years old and about the size of my hand from wrist to finger tips. They're all black ink tribal bs that I got when I was into drugs. I've been clean for ten years and I feel that getting them removed will close that chapter in my life.

  12. My name is Steve and I live in Bridge City TX. I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to join. I'm currently having laser removal done on all five of my tattoos. Once I'm done, I hope to get work from N.Beavers and L.Cook. It's a long and painful process but hopefully will be worth it in the end. It was actually several post on this site that made me feel more at ease with my decision of removal. Thanks.
