  1. I've always enjoyed the signatures in Japanese tattoos. It is a neat tradition. You can see the tag where the signature will go on the lower left leg in this Filip Leu piece.
  2. @MoistTowelette Looks like Gen is back at it again. For fuck sakes..... Your Shige peice: Piece he posted today:
  3. This happened in Subway about a month ago. Some inebriated guy came up to me as I was ordering: "Woah, look at your tattoos...your sleeves...you look dynamite! Can I lick your arms? I want them on my tongue!" I said maybe another time and he gave me a high five and left! Hahahah
  4. Ughhhh slang.... "tat gun" "tats" "tatty" "ink" "inked" FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!! http://data2.whicdn.com/images/34546461/funny-gif-man-jump-out-the-window_large.gif
  5. I've got that one, it is indeed a great book!
  6. Hahahah, it seems to be that way! If I was making that kind of money I'd be using my down time to travel the world and collect some killer work!
  7. Is Woody related to Mr. Cool Ice? Hahah
  8. Why would his aspiration to get his artwork on a drink can upset you? Maybe it's something he has been trying to do for a while. If he was an unknown but extremely talented artist who was trying to do the same thing, you'd probably vouch for him. Let the man have a little fun!
  9. Lots of tattoos in Sleeping Dogs, and it's a fun game as well!
  10. Should probably hold off and put this in the October thread considering you posted it almost 3 days after the contest for September ended. :p
  11. I know @peterpoose shared this on another forum a while ago, but damn that is some impressive work for only a year of tattooing! Her name is Line Mariëlle Kloosterman
  12. I stopped trying to help people who don't want to listen. If they come back and show off their sub-par work I just say "cool". I suggest artists to people who would do a good job of their tattoo based on the style they want, but they never listen. It's always "yeah but I want it this week" or "my buddy can hook me up". Why do people cheap out on tattoos of all things? Tattoos are one of the few things you can get that change your appearance permanently and give an outward impression of your personality and your taste, and you decide to go to the lowest bidder! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did all my research on my own, so I have a hard time feeling sorry for people who hate their tattoos, especially nowadays with the internet. No excuse!
  13. Thanks! I had a blast chatting with @Graeme and yourself about dicks! Hahah Spent the whole day at the convention again, scored some awesome goodies in the last two days as well! They'll make their way onto Instagram eventually!
  14. Horiyoshi III's suit is so timeless. It looks as good now as it did back then!
  15. Kurt had a 500 CD changer last time I was getting tattooed, so there was a wide variety of music. My favourite albums that I've been tattooed to so far are: Sarah McLachlan - Fumbling Towards Ecstasy Delerium - Karma Devin Townsend - Terria Type O Negative - October Rust
  16. I've had Dr. Numb used on me and it was such a relief! It made the second day in a row much more bearable. I disagree with the people who say it hurts worse after it wears off. It wore off gradually for me, so the increase in pain wasn't sudden, nor did it end up hurting as much as a regular 5+ hour session without anything. I did an 8.5 hour session on my leg with no pain killers or spray....NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Hahah
  17. I've never been tattooed with a rotary, so I can't really compare the sensation between the two machines. All I know (or at least feel) is that the sound of a coiled machine is such an integral part to the tattoo experience. I can't imagine going into a tattoo without the artist setting up the machine, running it and adjusting the voltage before asking if I'm ready to start. I need to hear that sound!
  18. Not much to contribute other than I really enjoyed reading Wear Your Dreams; such a great book! Ed must've influenced more artists than any other tattoo artist in history. Even Horiyoshi III in the last Gypsy Gentleman said that he "wouldn't be the tattooer he is today without Ed Hardy." Incredible!
  19. Just saw it. Holy christ, I thought he was going to give her a Hadouken. That would be so frustrating!
  20. Wow, thanks man! I'm glad you like them, I know I do! :) @hogg, once I get more coverage I'll have to start going to work in the nude! @Iwar @Wilhell @else @slayer1019 Thank you!!!
