Bob Roberts plays the best music to get tattooed by.

dronemaster got a reaction from Brock Varty in What's your longest tattoo session?
My first session ever was about 8 hours in Switzerland with Filip Leu. It was a half sleeve and chest panel. We finished the entire arm in SF two years later in about the same time. My upper thigh with Shige was another 8-9 hour session. Thank God I live in a town with Bob Roberts! I do two hour sessions now.

I've been lurking. Now I'm not. I'm fascinated by tattoos and old-time history. I'm not an artist. I'm a traditional fiddle and banjo player in Los Angeles, who's quite obsessed with old-time tattoos. Also, weird ones. I started collecting with Filip Leu. He did a sleeve. Since then, I've been collecting by Scott Harrison, Robert Ryan, Shige, Jeff Rassier and Bob Roberts. Oh, and a signature from Thom DeVita! Bob just finished my left leg and we're near completion with my backpiece. He's doing a Battle Royale. So I've made some great friends in the process and have heard some awesome stories. I hope to see and hear more from this genuine community!
Cheers,
David
