  1. Whatever was in there has solidified into something like a pebble. If you shake him gently, you can hear him rattle. No smell at all though - never was. He's a good egg.
  2. my sociology teacher gave each student an egg. The idea was that we were to care for the egg over a week, in order to simulate the idea of caring for a real infant. I found my egg the other day. He is 26 years old. I suspect mine is the only one to survive this long.
  3. I'll tattoo it one of these days, when I find a design that really works. I had a terrible time deciding what to do in the first place. Now that I've done one, I'm not intimidated about doing the other one. It wasn't so bad. And 24 hours later, I'm basically fine and fully functional.
  4. Today I got my kneecap done by Franz Stefanik at The Okey Doke. 1 down.
  5. Saw this on your instagram, but I'll post here as well - holy shit! That is amazing! How did the session go?
  6. Welcome aboard. Lots of great tattoos to be had in TO.
  7. Ha! It's not fun, but don't pay attention to me. I've been having back trouble recently and the thought of lying on the table for any length or even getting tattooed on my back is a really unpleasant prospect at the moment. I'll get back to it when my other back problems settle down. In the meantime - I work on legs. That said, I think backs often break people. There are a lot of people out there with unfinished back pieces. I wont be one of them, though I am taking my time.
  8. I thought about that, but I think the bulldog will be wearing a bowler hat instead of the tin-pot.
  9. I'm going to go for a bulldog right on the kneecap.
  10. I saw that on Instagram yesterday. Killer. Absolutely killer. I just sent him my knee design.
  11. I think I've found a design for my knee coming up on the 25th with Franz Stefanik. Had a hell of a time figuring it out.
  12. I'm just seeing this for the first time too. Great intro!
  13. When we travel for tattoos we take tape, bandages, gloves, and towels. Usually that does the trick and we've never had any complaints. Though I sometimes wonder what the hotel staff thinks of all that stuff piling up in the washroom.
  14. You know, its not a phrase I've ever used before. I married a historian too. There is never any shortage of things to read around our house.
  15. While looking between @hogg's legs tonight, I was struck to realize we have all the same books. I mean it. All of them. Go figure.
  16. This is going to be great. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Back tattoos are easy - no pain. Ever.
