Thanks Dari

I seem to have done something wrong. That last reply was aimed at the pic of the Nazi face tattoo guy.
Here, I added it for you.

This guy isn't dead I don't think. He escaped and murdered a policeman. Also his tattoo descriptions are wrong. Skinhead warrior Rune? C'mon, it's a crucified Skin. They also fail to mention that Hatebreed is not involved in the nazi scene.

I did this my first year of Tattooing. I used to work on the shittier side of town. It looks like it was done in prison. I still laugh about it. It sucks.

Those Urban Ink mags are a disgrace. They basically are telling black people to get shitty tattoos from sucker tattooers. It's just full of stars, crosses and background shading. What a piece of shit! Magazines are supposed to educate people on what's good, and suppress bad work from seeing the light of day. If they are showing horrible work, then they are only helping scummy tattooers continue to ply their trade.

Totally fake. That girl looks like she works for a casting company. That Murder one is Awesome. I love Homicide,Forensics, Mysteries. What an idiot that guy is.
-
That last guy in the first set of pics looks like an asian Shan McGowan
-
Wow! those girls are considered hood these days? They should come to Chicago. I'll introduce them to some bitches that would make them cry just by talking to them.

The answers to this thread are simple. There are assholes everywhere. No matter where you are. Nobody likes the I'm too cool for you Tattooer, Bartender, Sales Clerk, whatever. We also don't like the whiny customer, guy who waves his money in your face like he is buying you type, or stalkers, or the never satisfied customer. There is etiquette for any business out there. If you don't act accordingly you will either: Lose customers, Not get served, be asked to leave, or in extreme cases, Beat the Fuck up. You are not the only Tattooer in town, and You are not the only customer in the shop. It's really easy. And if somebody doesn't treat you right....don't come back. That's like the battered wife who stays with her husband. "He mistreats me but I keep going back, whimper, whimper."
Ok I'm done. Get it? Got it? Good.

Thanks Nick. Awesome! The girl who's talking about the Dietzel book... why don't you just buy the book? It's worth it. He's also Following it up with a second volume.

Crazy! I'm a murder Mystery dork. that Greg May story is nuts. I was just researching it online. I never knew about it until now.

Loving all the "Unpublished" pics up here. The ones from the books are nice, but I think I have all the books. I like to see the ones that aren't as documented. Keep 'em coming please. The snake was done in 1981 at Chicago tattoo the girl head done in 82 in Hong Kong The guy didn't remember who exactly did them.

My car is buried. I'm not close enough to walk to the Lake in these conditions. I know people have been photographing up there though. Lake Shore drive is being dug out. Buses and cars were buried. Navy Pier is the place Lochlan. There's really just a big ferris wheel. i guess the North East is next on the storm list.

We're looking at 20 below zero for tonight also. Fun times. I'm used to this shit though. This is my 3rd major blizzard. '79, 99' and now this. Not to mention every winter we get dumped on.
-
Ha. Skiba and I worked at the same record distro. before he got famous. Dan Andriano too.

As you may have heard, we had a Blizzard last night in Chicago. here's some pics I took last night. All my shoveling was filled back in this morning. The city is kinda shut down today. I actually tattooed during it yesterday early evening. I doubt anybody is tattooing today. Enjoy. I might take more pics today.

Bronson is pretty good. Very inaccurate though. Barry the Baptist ( Lenny Mclean) in Lock Stock was a Real, Legendary "Hard Man," and bounced clubs for the Krays. I'm sure Guy Ritchie got plenty of stories from him. He was also an unlicensed boxer, as was Charlie Bronson. All those guys have books out now. Some of the fights are on youtube. They are gritty and brutal. Check out Roy Shaw too.

That's totally drawn on and staged. He would be so bloody.

Awesome! Didn't know about that. I wish I had seen Terry Wrigley's old shop when I was there. I saw a lot of old timers in Dumbarton with swallows, etc. they were most likely done in Glasgow.

I drink a 6 pack, and Eat a couple of bowls of chili beforehand. I make sure to put lots of garlic in the chili too. Then I drink as much coffee as possible during the tattoo, and take smoke breaks. This usually makes for a magical experience that I recommend for everyone. I also have a warm up dance that I do, but that is secret.
