  1. I like the form of the Raven with the asymmetrical uneven feathers. Looks very natural.
  2. I am looking for an Artist in Texas to knock this style out of the park. I live in central Texas so every major city (Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio) is less than three hours from me. Thanks!
  3. Lol, I know that's right. I have tattoos on my arm, back and now my ribs spanning 22 years and they all hurt...and each were well worth it!
  4. I am not covered but do have visible tattoos on my arm and neck. I tend to cover them at work but they do peak through occasionally. As the elected District Attorney I get away with it but understand how many feel.
  5. I was getting a Raven on my calf but y'all scared me off...so I put it on my ribs. Healing great so far but dang it hurt!
  6. Yes, it is getting up to the 90's here and time for some sun and water. I got a new tattoo on my ribs Friday and I have an appointment at the end of the month for some work on my back. I am hoping I don't have to completely miss out this summer. Luckily summer lasts 8 months in Texas!
  7. I have mixed feelings on this as well. Many tattoos are flash and meant to be copied over and over. Further, most people see a style they like and say "I want that!" Plus, with the internet we can get a lot more references and covet those unique works of art. However, if I went to the trouble of getting a unique work of art from a specific tattoo artist I would not want it copied. My last tattoo was based on several pictures which I asked my artist to combine and do in her style. She did a great job.
  8. I ran a 5k about 12 hours after my last tattoo. Washed it when I got home and had no problem with infection. It did look a bit faded though. I would hold off until the ink stops bleeding.
  9. Don't forget the Single Edge...they deserve some respect as well. I have been shaving my head for many years starting with a Gem Micromatic "bullet tip" and finishing with a '34 Gillette Aristocrat Open Comb. The perfect combination.
  10. Welcome, I am new here as well. I look forward to seeing your work. Always wanted to go to Sweden.
  11. I now have an appointment with Scott at Arsenal Tattoo in Bryan, Texas next month for an 8 hour back session. I was looking for someone who could do some solid dark black work and they were recommended. kind of nervous about an 8 hour session though. Never sat for more than an hour.
  12. I am 41 years old and looking to get some new tattoos on my back. I live in the Aggieland area. I do have a 22 year old Tattoo on my arm and recently went to get one started on my back. It is a solid black design and unfortunately it has already faded only 7 days later. So now I am looking for someone who specializes in solid dark black tattoos to touch it up and finish the rest. Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio are all less than 3 hours from me.
