  1. Stewart, that documentary sounds pretty cool. Do region 1 DVDs still work on laptops over here? I might have to look it up if they do.
  2. Can you play this on Androids, too? If so, I'll find my tablet and join y'all. I rule at scrabble though, so be warned.
  3. I think this is a really good idea, it could really work.

    Howdy

Yeeeeeeey, Laura's in the house! :) This lass rocks, make her feel welcome. :)
  5. Hey, you joined! :D

  6. Haha, I never know if I'm a normal happy person or a miserable cow- depends how many people have irritated me that day! I'm overly polite too though, a lot of the time, though Pat and I may be anomalies, haha.
  7. That hotel looks amazing. Wow. I want to go now, or to somewhere like that. I live in a place that the council is constantly trying to make "modern" (whatever that means, I thought it was just a synonym for "ugly"), so I'm always jealous of places like that. When I have the money to go to New York myself, I'll be making sure I stay there, for real.
  8. It's not "cool", it's "super cool"! Haha, maybe he's just from a place where people say that a lot. In Newcastle, we tend to make sentences ten times longer by adding in words that don't mean to be there. It's just a force of habit. Though, I still agree with you and Stewart about it being a bit too cool- I was kind of jealous of the places they were going to and what was going on around them, since I'm also a dork.
  9. There's another Mel here! Yay! And it's another sleepy one, too! :)

  10. Haha, I knew you guys would know how it's been photoshopped. I always knew there was something "off" about it, it's just not even done that well. That picture's been on the internet since forever. I wonder if the guy in the picture is secretly ashamed. Or, if he even knows his torso's been shared on the internet so many times! As for comments about arrogance- I totally agree, though I don't really think I see arrogance here. I think people are just a lot more straight-forward on here, and don't sugar coat things if they're going to say something another person might not like. If we're all old enough to have tattoos, we're all adults here, so I think that's totally fine.
  11. You also need a house full of leather-bound books, Patrick and David! And the whole house has to smell of mahogany. These are the rules.
  12. Haha, this is true- I did say whoever had them lying around would have sold them, though I'd have no idea who that person would be- maybe if someone knows that, you'd be able to find out some really interesting stuff about those ones! I refuse to believe you stop owning things after you're dead- who's going to look after my old Pokémon cards when I'm gone?
  13. Is that tattoo actually real? I've always wondered, someone ages ago pointed out this stupid photoshop mistake on it, but I'm not bright enough to see it myself. Either way, why would you want someone else's tattoo on you? Google Images isn't a directory of "what you can get".
  14. Last reply from me, promise! ;) My friend Sharron just said that she knows the guy who owns the museum, and he'll own everything that's there. His name's Willy, and if you go to the guest book page on the website, you can ask him anything there and he'll reply. :) Wahey, another EDIT: Willy owns the Southport museum, but if you go to the Southport Museum's site, and go to the guest book there, you could still ask him and see if he knows. :) I'm having a terrible jumbled up day today, sorry for any confusion. I think I'll just go to bed now.
  15. Correction! They were at another tattoo museum today- though, they might have seen this one before anyway. :)
  16. Haha maybe, but I can see Milton Zeis' name at the top of that site, so wouldn't he own them? You could see if you can get in touch somewhere and ask. Mate of mine were at this museum just today, I found out- maybe they'll know for sure! I'll send them this link and see if they can shed some light on when exactly these machines were used. EDIT: Although it says there they belonged to Milton Zeis, there's another page that says they've been buying everything that's displayed, so whoever owns the museum must have bought them from whoever had them lying around. I guess that makes the owners of the museum the best people to ask.
  17. Y'know, I'm sure Mattel keep putting these Totally Stylin' dolls up, then taking them down for a while, because I saw these about two years ago but I still keep seeing articles about the "new" doll. I wrote about this a while ago, and ended up with about 50 emails and comments on the site from horrified mothers who thought I was going to hell and was a bad influence. I didn't make the dolls! I think they're kind of cool, they'd be a cool toy for a kid whose parents are tattooers! That Tattoodles doll looks kind of weird though, can't put my finger on why I don't like it. There's actually a really cool website called Doll Tattoos that sells Barbies with tattoos. The whole business is the brainchild of two little kids, and their dad, which I think is class. Here's the site: DOLL tattoos - Home of Tramp Stamp Barbie AND KEN!!!

Wow, that's really cool. I'd love to see the tattoo, too- Dan Santoro probably did a really great job of it! I got really pissy with the website of that documentary for trying to charge me $5 to watch it, when they've got it up on YouTube for free. Managed to watch half of it the other night though before I dozed off, it's great. Really weird to see Varg looking so... normal? Or perhaps "calm" is the word I'm thinking of- when I read things he'd said in the book I was starting to see where he was coming from, and thinking, "wait, am I agreeing with a psychopath, here?". Strange stuff!

  20. That breakfast just makes me jealous of everyone who's eaten it, haha. I wish I was rich enough to eat that every day. Actually most days I wish I was rich enough for just half of that every day! Usually I just stick with the good old bacon sandwich. Sometimes replacing the butter for tommy sauce if I'm feeling a bit cheeky. Some student traits haven't quite left me.
  21. Haha, I have no idea mate. My sister loves chicken but doesn't like turkey as much- they're basically the same thing!
  22. Asda will have to do! :) I drank some weird beer last night, at least I think it was beer, haha. Desperados, I think it was called. It had tequila in it and was yum yum yum.
  23. Y'know what, I thought this list would have just been stupid, and I didn't really bother to read it properly. After reading what Ursula said about the "shop bitches", I took a look. I actually feel offended, and I won't be writing for Bob again. I worked the desk at my mate's studio for a short time, and I have other friends who do it right now- I can completely agree with Ursula and David here! Though, my mate was a lot nicer to me than many tattooers can be at times, I got off easy, haha.
  24. Wow, they're actually really beautiful. I'm sure I've seen something like this before, though I couldn't tell you where. I'm also really interested though if anyone has information! :)
