  1. @Jnvlv there are worse things you could be into. If tattoos are your only "sin" they will get over it.

A point concerning your parent's side, if you are in school or some how they are helping out. The "their money" issue is actually real. While on another person's payroll there are certain rules to abide by. If they are footing the bill and you know they wouldn't appreciate tattoos then you should have waited until you're off the payroll. Not judging but as a parent and a guy with tattoos I see both sides. Also, I will NOT be happy if one of my kids turns 18 and thinks I'm OK with them getting tattoos. Establish your life and then do what you want and ensure it fits your lifestyle/profession.

  2. Yep! And it keeps getting crazier. I'm embarrassed to say what episode I'm on right now. But I guess that's what happens when work is canceled, roads are icy now, and my wife is away. Hahaha.

PA, I think they are measuring the snow fall in feet and not inches out on the east coast!

  3. I've had bactine spray whilst getting tattooed , cant say I noticed any difference. My wife said she noticed a difference with bactine.

I had a lidocaine spray and that is the best. Only works after there has been some lining as it need to get into the skin. But after that it's very tolerable. Used it with long sessions where lining and shading/color were involved.

  4. there's going to be either some more peonies or some dahlias-flowers of some sort, behind the new peony, continuing the way up behind the frog. His leaf will be changed a little bit too. Just that arm band is throwing me off, what to do with it. I can go down a little bit, I just want to make sure it's something that doesn't have to go down to my elbow, and that will cover the band/incorporate it so I can't see it. I can see what's under my feet and it bothers me.

How about some wind bars as background? It will fill in the space and you should be able to cover that arm band.... Just a thought.

  5. Hey guys,

I just recently got a few tattoos and love them!! I am lucky that I found local place that I like very much to get any work done. I am 24 years old and only have had piercings (industrial, eyebrow and left lobe) my parents were not fans of those so I can't imagine what they'd say or how they would react to the tattoos (I can but unsure of what it would actually be like lol) Yah I haven't told them at all but they are visiting in February from CT so they will see in person

Welcome to LST, where did you get your work done?
