  1. Funny I asked some of my buds here in Dallas and they thought they were very good. He has at least 200 pics to show but I have to photobucket them first then repost here. I will put up a couple more. Maybe you will change your mind and maybe not. I DO thank you for being honest. Because if ya'll think they are bad then I do not want my wife to use this guy. Again thanks.

If you ignore the subject matter and just look at the work, you will see washed out color. A few of the tattoos look like they are 15 years old. Line work is inconsistent, and some of it is strangely drawn. The last dragon is really odd. What is going on with the belly scales? It looks like and over stuffed sausage ready to pop.

  2. I had a similar experience where I answered the door wearing a dress and my neighbor was like "I never thought a conservative woman like yourself would have tattoos." I responded with "what makes you think I'm conservative? And why can't classy ladies get tattooed?" He has a hard time answering considering you shouldn't judge people after only talking to them once or twice!

I would have told him, yeah, my cellmate said the same thing.

  3. Those are fucking terrible.

Attitude? LOL There is plenty of that here in this forum. I own and operate my own forum Owner/admin. and have done so for 7 years. I posted these pics because this artist owns a tattoo shop in Punta Cana, Dominican, Republic. And my wife might have him perform a tattoo. The thread on this topic reads "Do you like these tattoos" and then Slayer posts " I also don't understand what you are trying to get at with this thread." it is obvious Slayer by the title of this thread. But I guess it needs to be spelled out for ya.

He is asking because you posted a bunch of garbage tattoos and asked if we like them. You know they are hideous, a five year old knows they are awful. The you ask if we like them, when you know we wont, so why bother.

  4. How bout a pacifier to suck on? Would that help you get over it? Just sayin getting a little childish I would say.

It doesn't bother me at all. I was trying to give you a little advice. You don't have to take it. If you want to be the "sick tat bro guy" fine with me. If your good with wearing bad tattoos that's fine with me too. Some folks don't care about quality, they want to be a cool guy with "tats" and that's fine, but that's not what this place is about.

I can tell you that if you contacted a lot of the folks here's artists, they would be done talking to you once the word tat crossed your lips. Top level tattooers have all of the work they can handle, and they can pick and choose their clients. If you want top level work you need to respect the art and the artists.

  5. Oh God get over it. Tat us a quick way to spell Tattoo. gezzzzz

If your good with sounding ignorant because you're too lazy to type, I good with it too. Just don't be shocked when no-one takes you seriously.

  6. Open your eyes. It is happening all around you. Drones for example flying with a joystick. Cars can now drive without a human driver, doctors using computers to do precise surgery soon tats will be placed on your body by computers. No artist needed and so on...........So once again can anybody direct members to a website that can help with tat design? I am looking for a blended USA/Dominican Republic flag on my forearm. I have an example I found on the net but would be to difficult for an artist to do in such a small area as the forearm Here is a pic. <a href=dominican_republic_long_sleeve_tshirt_zp

If you want art, go to your tattooer and have him design something for you. If you want a sick tat, just keep on keeping on I guess.

  7. I would say Chris Garver! The reason is I like japanese style tattoos but also other styles as well. There are very few artist that can do many styles at the level he does. Well rounded is an understatement!! Being that he was on t.v and all many people may say some negative things but you cannot dispute how awesome of an artist he is not just as a tattooer. He's very personable and friendly! Also I found him to be super humble about his success.

Anyone who would discount the quality of Garver's work because he was on tv is not worth the time to listen to their opinion.

As for me I will only be tattooed by one person in my life and that person is Kore Flatmo. He is the only person that has tattooed me and to say I couldn't be happier would be an understatement. Great work, even better person.

  8. The interview was great. Watched the entire thing. He had some great stories and seems like an awesome person. Makes me really want to get in to see him. :)

Would you mind posting a pic of your tat? Would love to see it.

Kore seems so awesome in that interview. So laid back and seems like he'd be so easy to talk to.

If you look under my avatar, you will see images. Click on that and you can see both of the tattoos I've gotten from him,

  9. Oh whoops. My fault. I found the Plurabella site and it didn't list an address but my brain failed to put 2+2 together that it was private. Oh I fail sometimes lol. I should definitely call and see what he's up to and how booked he is.

He sounds great. I would love to have a piece done by him. I've been wanting tattoos ever since I was real young because my parents have them and I always thought they were so beautiful. Maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to have Kore work on a piece for me ;)

It will be worth your time. I have to say beside everything else I really value the private nature of the studio. Its really very relaxing and laid back, no macho bs going on. I really made me feel comfortable, especially on my first piece because it was my first tattoo.

I can honestly say I wouldn't get tattooed by anyone else.

  10. FYI. He works out of a private studio and not a shop. It isn't a place you can just walk into. There are no markings for the studion and the doors remain locked during the day. I would contact them via phone or email to set up something.

This, contact him through email. I don't think stopping by would go over very well. Even if you could find it, you would be able to get in.

You won't disappointed. He's an incredible tattooer and an even better person.
