  1. If his DOB is 1973, got a nice sheet...
  2. This shooter was probably only active, from what wits say, for about 20 seconds, tops. Unless someone was right on top of him and saw it jump, basically zero chance of effective counter-fire. And what Rory says is spot-on...when there is shit coming in at you, it tends to narrow down your perspective a tad. It could have been worse. For all of the hoplophobes who feel that weapons should be illegal, if this moke had gone in with a gallon of gas (explosive force roughly equivelant to five sticks of standard dynamite) and a book of matches, he could have killed and maimed far, far more people.
  3. @embers, go talk to the tattooer who put it on, see what he has to say, and see if he will work with you on it.
  4. Any other info you can get on the guy, pass along...full name, description, where he claims to live, like that.

    Hey All

Hey bud, welcome to LST. Ya know, ANY competent artist could make that into something else. Knotwork isn't bad, the cross is a bit smudged, or maybe it's just the pic. Take a look in the Coverup threads for ideas, but it's a pretty wide-open area to work in, so you're limited only by your imagination. Don't know where you are, but some shops specialize in cover-up a bit more than others. I know that's always been a big part of CTC's bidness, and I'm sure there is a shop mear you that can handle it as well.
  6. From the reports I read this morning -and they are conflicting, every news source seems to have something a little different - this goof walks in wearing a gas mask, goes out the backdoor, and comes back with an AR, a shotgun, and a handgun, tosses some type of smoke down an aisle and then starts lighting up. Had a 90 round drum on the AR, and most witnesses said they heard 20-30 shots. So far the "authorities" are claiming 71 injured and 12 dead. Depending on what "injured" means, it's quite possible. The reorts all talk about the stampede to get out, so many of the "injuries" could well be from that. Guy could dump 20-30 round in under 20 seconds, so it isn't too surprising that he could do it without being taken off...but it does make you wonder. He shouldn't have survived. Wonder if he'll be "killed by fellow inmates" while in custody? Lee Harvey Oswald, anyone?
  7. Always good to see a new member! Enjoy your reading and share what you can.
  8. Welcome to the boards, Luke...enjoy your stay and contribute what you can!
  9. Whackos everywhere. Next thing ya know it'll be bombing Iran...
  10. Not my taste, but it looks well done. you can have the shading changed, shouldn't be a major deal. BUT QUIT PUTTING VASELINE ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You really don't need any greezy shit like that on a fresh tattoo. Some light, hypoallergenic, unscented skin lotion is all you need, and not much of that.
  11. No problem with acupuncture...tried it for my back and for migraines, had damned-if-I-know how many needles stuck in my face and neck...didn't feel a thing.
  12. Howzit, Clay-welcome to LST! Hope you find something to interest you here, and I look forward to seeing your posts!

C.E., as the Wise Man once said, "fuck her if she can't take a joke!"
  14. Looks like a good, solid, clean piece to me...nothing to be bashful about.
  15. What it's all about, and who gives a damn what anymone else thinks?!
  16. Bleeding isn't uncommon for the first day, especially if you've had a good bit of black packed in. Once upon a time, the standard was to leave the original dressing on for 24 hours, minumum, and then reemove it and shower, keep the work moist with a light lotion. Now, more tattooists seem to recommend leaving the original dressing on for about 4 hours, and then cleaning the work and keeping it lighttly moistened. If you've had it by now for what, almost a day? Gently wash it, let it dry completely. If you're oozing serum after washing it and letting it dry, pat it with a paper towel until the serum ooze stops.
  17. Screw hip-hop...bring back doo-wop!!! .02
  18. Skulls, daggers, lettering, he has a different touch with everything he does, I can't really out a hand on it, but he puts his own twist on everything he does. And he's a scam artist like Nick Colella-truly a nice guy.
  19. Best to him and hopes for a good recovery. Same old..."I didn't see the motorsickle"! Only two kinds of riders, those that have been down, and those that will be. I've found that aftr the first few times you get splashed, you tend to be a LOT more observant and careful. At least you gotta get something out of it.
  20. Welcome to LST, Doozer. Far as the tattoo design, well, whatever floats yer boat, right-you'r the one that's gonnna be wearing it, so if that's what you want...
  21. My Pops was 82 and retired to Mountain Home, Arkansas. Calls me up and asks if I'm gonna visit them that summer, and I said, yeah, of course. Tells me I best to do it quick. Guy was 6'4, 250 pounds up into his sixties when the cancer hit, but by then, he was down to maybe 140, 160. Had "beat" the cancer, but had emphesyma. My youngest son had just been born, he was like a month old, but we made plans and drove down-ten hour drive with four kids, including an infant. Fun. Got there, everyone does the reunion trip with my 'rents, and my Pops, he sits in his rocking chair holding my month-old son, the one named after me. Sits with him for maybe an hour, we have a bite of lunch and a beer, and he sez "I don't feel so good, I'm gonna take a nap". Went to sleep and died within the hour. He was just waiting to meet the boy and to say goodbye to everyone-tough old fucker. Maintain.

    cover up ?

Depending on what you want done, sure, I think any GOOD tattooist could make that into something you'd like. Nothing beats walking into a shop and talking to the people there...plenty of artists names bandied about here, find one near you and see what they say.
