I'm a moderator on a group with 50,000 members, and I absolutely wouldn't mind doing it, but I seriously doubt he would let me since he has warned me twice for being too harsh.

My shop was closed on Wednesday, and I was tattooed on Tuesday, so my artist gave me the saniderm to put on. I wasn't particularly successful, even though I followed his directions closely. Reminder to self: Don't get tattooed on a Tuesday. I need him to apply it because I am not good at it.

@Devious6 Mark, you always have something valuable to add. You are the best! I've engaged with a few of these people who really hate that we don't love their tattoo ideas, and I am always called all sorts of names. They also insult my tattoos, which makes me giggle since these tools either 1) have no tattoos and/or 2) are seeking our opinions on a particularly shitty tattoo idea. The multiple-thread-starters especially drive me crazy. DUDES. ONE THREAD IS ENOUGH. I've seen them do that here, then go to another place (like Big Planet) and do the exact same thing and get the exact same response. It is funny to watch.

Oh, I know, Dan. I've used it before. It doesn't always leave such bruised marks though. :-/ Weird.

I had a pretty major touch up on my arm on Tuesday, and this is what I was left with when I took off the saniderm. it hurt like a fucker taking it off, too.

I love this thread. I'm new (as in 2016 new), but I am not a fan of the stupidity that gets posted by newbies. I have been called down about what I say to them at least three times. Whoops?

Excising is an extreme and painful procedure. Most of us would just get it covered up or live with it. So no, you won't find any people cutting out tattoos here. Wait for the laser! You'll be glad you did.

People who get armpit tattoos are usually heavily tattooed. :-)

Dude, I don't know. I think the word atrocious is being kind. Please, for the love of god, please talk to a tattoo artist. He can draw and refine the ideas you have. Honestly. You'll be so much happier.

I don't think the banner lines are fine. But he should absolutely do whatever he wants to do. :-)

Like the tiger. The line work on that scroll is all over the place. If you go back, stay with the guy who did the tiger. :-)

You can have a good idea of what you want—black and gray roses—but yeah, don't go in saying, "I want it exactly like this." You will find yourself out on your ear because most accomplished tattoo artists aren't going to copy something exactly. Why would you want them to? Let him do his own take on it, and you'll end up with something much better.

Custom just means they have designed something for you, and you aren't getting a piece of flash off the wall. Many use stencil transfers (my artist almost always does, but he sketches in other stuff around it, too), but it depends on the tattoo.
