  1. One of the joys of tattoos is how they move. Distortion, movement and re-proportion is part of what makes them so interesting to look at and watch.
  2. Some of my hippie stuff to tie into the original outer arm hippie stuff . . . Jon Mirro
  3. Steve is doing Lucas' (the shop assistant - big dude) back. Ask to see it. Spectacular.
  4. Definately a high traffic area. Last time I was there Ron Henry Wells was walking in the door as I was exiting . . . :/
  5. A week from now I'll be finishing up my 5th session with Thomas at ROA. All the outline is complete, so psyched to get into some more serious shading.
  6. One of my artists dipped his paper towel wipe into a container of bactine after the 1st 3 or so hours. From then on the wiping was actually helping deaden the working area.
  7. Depends on the artist . . . do you have a link to a portfolio?
  8. let's see what you've got so far . . .

    Hello!

    Welcome! What he said ^
  10. @Rad Kelham great stuff, man. Credit your artist . . .
  11. Interested in any trades for the Autopsy? I've got an extra copy of the 1st Fingerwave - still in the plastic . . .

    New to tattoos

    Pictures, please.
  14. Uncle Billy's is only about 1.5-2 miles away. They have outside seating, awesome bbq and they brew their own beer, too. Validated parking in the rear.
  15. Certainly not saying you'd need to copy that particular photo. Thousands of tattooists do variations on Japanese waves - and many are capable of doing an interesting full piece, if that's the way you wanted to interpret an ocean so that it's easily recognizable.
  16. One of those doesn't have a link to any online portfolio. That's not usually a good sign . . . I know there is someone who is pretty good in Rochester - but I can't remember the name at the moment. I know a couple of folks here will, though. Jon Mirro does pretty good work. He frequently visits Hand of Doom in Buffalo.
  17. I've never gotten a burn under a regular t-shirt, either.
  18. The traditional heart and Mom tattoo (the one with the banner) could be reworked so that the portrait filled the heart . . .
  19. I've seen something recently. Maybe a superhero - like Aquaman?
  20. Welcome. Damn, I had to look up Abbeville, and I've been living in Louisiana since 1978 . . .
