must have no faith in your tattoo artist . . . might be time to find a new one . . .

Finished or unfinished is certainly fine either way with a situation like that, I'd say.
Possibly he has a friend or two who could respect what he's done with it and bring the art to some closure, too.
If I were the partner, I'd certainly want to see the old work. Just ask her before whipping it out. She might even have some ideas about who he might have liked to see it through, too.

I had to have some of my back re-lined, including all the area that had originally been lasered. Apparently even 4-6 months after the final treatments some of the new ink continues to disperse.
On the other hand, it didn't bother me at all. I'd rather have lining any day instead of shading . . .

Man, if it's that old and a really good one, you might want to get that framed too. Unless the mannequin-for-effect is more desirable. After all, any home decor could use a random mannequin.
Problem with framing it would be a/the frame would be really large, b/you'd only get to see 1 side.
When I was a younger "adult" we always had a Christmas mannequin instead of a tree. Loved it.

Minor diversion to the real theme of this thread - but my wife's Dad brought a back a really nice silk robe from Japan back in the '40s, and it's been stored in a plastic bag all these years. Seriously considering buying a mannequin to hang it on.

I'm still figuring out photobucket and this forum.
Capture the direct link within the "gear" on the photobucket picture. Click on the "insert image" icon at the top of your reply pane and drop your link there. Done!

There are a couple of threads here that detail the process of getting laser treatments. The real trick is finding someone in your area that can do it properly.

You should talk with your Mom, because neither your visits nor your tattoos are going to go away. Ultimately she should respect the fact that you make your own choices and the fact that the two of you don't need to agree on everything. If her reaction to that RIGHT is going to be so negative it's only going to have a negative impact on your relationship and time you spend together . . .

Romania, I was just wondering how much this piece of magnificent piece of art would cost and how much would it take to make. I don't think theres some1 in this country that can do this. Maybe western europe?
Definately. @peterpoose is the expert on this style in Europe. If he doesn't chime in here you can do a search for his posts/threads and see who he's been seeing.

who is the artist . . . ?
-
How much would a tattoo like this cost? Some1 who might do it?
Cost depends on the artist, and you'd certainly have to consult with him/her specifically to get a true indication. We can help find you a competent artist - so where do you live?
