Yeah, seems like quite the project. Was neat to see Brian Henry on there, he's right down the road from me and I see rad tattoos from him often.

Just downloaded this, really cool so far. I can't wait to see more traditional artists added, but just FYI it's going to be your fault when I'm broke all the time now.
This is perfect for me as I constantly travel around America so now I can always find where to get tattooed. Thanks!

I've been to one convention - in Knoxville, so not that big. I found 95% of the artists were very personable and willing to converse if they weren't busy working. Booth people (non-artists) were knowledgeable and outgoing. I found the whole area full of people enjoying their passion. I went on a Friday night, so people were fresh and in good spirits. Don't think I'd ever go on Sunday or late Saturday.

This convention is run by Villain Arts. Check out their website for the artist attending list and look for a quality artist in the style you prefer. I like the convention atmosphere but it's not for everyone. I got tattooed in Baltimore at the 2010 convention and got stuck there in a blizzard for two days. Artists were giving tattoos away because 60 percent of the appointments were canceled due to the weather. There are good possibilities that you could get a walk up tattoo from a good artist, however the most sought after artists usually book up in advance. Also just because an artist is there doesn't mean they are good at their trade.

I've only been to two conventions so far, but both of them had a fair number of artists who were available for walk ups. Personally, however, I would still recommend doing some research before going. You might fall in love with an artist's work online and be able to secure an appointment instead of leaving it up to chance.
Even if you don't make an appointment ahead of time, you'll know which booths you want to prioritize visiting as opposed to walking in blind and trying to see them all. There's a lot going on at conventions, so it can get overwhelming and rushed for time.

Carried on to Italy from florian Karg to Silvano Fiato today :)
What a true gentlemen and artist!
Just came out from his studio.
I only went to join the face to my knee but he insisted on working on me for 5 - 6 hours for free including the knee joining.
He always thought the first piece I had done by him was very plain and didn't push his skill level and wanted to at least do as much with her as he possibly can.
So he reworked her face some, blended it into the new piece, ready for the final piece at the back next year.
Personally i liked the previous one but now that he has added more shading and depth I much prefer the new piece. Once the swelling goes down and redness it should look awesome.
He went over the house in places to make it darker but he couldn't continue or put any white in her eyes, lips or house as my skin is too raw. He will see it all healed next year and add more to it.
To be honest I have had enough of being tattooed, feel really drained and tired. I am going to make my new appointments for late next year and take a year out, I think my body needs it :)
He didn't touch the train as he said when this settles and heals it will be the right shade.
Personally I love the depth he has given her.

Had some more done on my front and started some on the side moob :)

After I had 7 laser sessions I finally could get a cover up I wanted. I booked in with rob Richardson months ago when he opened his books. This is what I came back with after 3 sessions in a row full days :).. I will post healed pics later and if anyone wants to see the before pics let me know!

Interesting that the blue and red are holding as well as each other, and as the b&g. I'm sure it makes you happy! Such nice art. I think that tight control on pigment particle size is as important as artist depth control.

I like both but personally prefer for myself to stick to a rough same theme.

Florian is really fast, well fastest artist I've had work on me.
My idea of course didn't work lol not enough room so we had a compromise. He has never**done a spider before, so I broke his virginity.
5 hours for this but this place is so painful and sensitive. Shit pics, red raw and swollen.
I personally love what he has done. The space was a lot smaller than we thought :)
