My leg is mostly peeled, just a few scabs left that wont fall off.

How common is this really? Stuff like this can easily be misconstrued as the rule for the whole of women who end up with a man's name on them. I do feel bad for that rape victim though.

I am in with Valerie Vargas at the end of May, then I am booked in with Phil Wilkinson middle of June, then I am getting tattooed by 3 artists in 3 days at the London tattoo convention in September, Jess Yen, Jee Sayalero and Chriss Dettmer. I am also starting my back (Neck to knees) at some point in the next few weeks....I may post in the back piece thread about that when we get going!

Very cool! And I agree. I only have 4 tattoos, but 4 tattoos in one year... this forum is inspiring and feeding my tattoo habit. I love seeing what other people get tattooed on themselves, and I feel like they put me to shame... Haha then I realize that being heavily tattooed is a process, and I might not even want to be heavily tattooed! If anything, it's nice to have a positive place to look and learn.

As for your new tattoo and the accompanying experience, I just think that is pretty damn cool. Props @David Flores

My leg has stayed red and tender even though it is peeling. I think it's just the area of the leg that is tattooed that is sensitive.

Anyway, elevate your leg, and continue to treat it as you have. Thats all I can give you, Im not a pro!

Im the other way around. Though I'd love to win this competition, I'll vote for those who I'm up against because the tattoos are just that good. I'd rather have the best tattoo win than my ego stroked. Plus, sitting here looking at all these tattoos, I dont know how you keep your fingers from the like button!

I know. If the plot was good and the characters relatable, then the graphicness of it could be forgiven. But it's not.

tattoo day tomorrow, more work on my left arm. No idea what! There has been talk of a blonde haired lady, mandalas but i have no doubt whatever he comes up with will be fabulous. Only one more session with my tattooer after tomorrow before he's off to travel America for a few months. My body is breathing a sigh of relief!

You are getting tattooed at a fast rate... I do not envy the pain you must be going through... and all over your body too, but it's all worth it if you look kick ass

Yeah I have found that every step still hurts. Cant even get in or out of bed, on or off the couch, without pain. Idk how to describe it, it just feels like my skin is almost burning? Or like little daggers? Idk. I know I'm gonna have to suck it up, but every step I take is painful, no matter the distance. Haha im such a wimp! Thanks for the moral support guys, I'm gonna be ok, once I grow some lady balls and man up

when i got my outside calfs done i didn't experience too much swelling or pain but i think the outside isnt so bad perhaps because it isn't on the muscle? :/

Anyhoo when i had my thighs done they really really swole and i do a job that requires my legs to be lower than my heart all day... (nail technician posture corrective stools..so comfortable..not) so i took ibuprofen to try and help with the swelling, drank lots of water to try to help clear the swelling and painkillers. The difficulty walking went after a couple of days... i hope it starts to feel better soon :( x

My daughter is turning 18 in June and she's talking about getting tattooed.

I dont have the ability to just stay at home for a few days, and elevating my leg has done nothing. the skin feels tight and my leg is swollen. every step is painful. the skin feels stretched tight when I am standing up. What do I do? I have to walk a mile in the morning to get to the bus and I am afraid I'll be in too much pain

haha flattery will get you everywhere. :) I like the morissey idea. Still, the pharoahs horses should be done first, that way you can see how you feel after it is done.

I was discussing with @else earlier on today that i'd love to get a Pharohs horses tattoo.. she suggested back of thighs.. i'm loving that idea. I have pretty sturdy legs and they are long so theres lots of room length wise on the back of my thighs.. i've been looking for Prints for my new house and came across this...

I LOVE The Smiths and i love this print.. thinking perhaps it could be turned into something tattooable and may be an option for the back of the other thigh!

It looks to be of a simlar shape as most of the horses tattoos ive seen and could try and do it so both tattoos have a similar border if you get what i mean?

hehe, I must be getting used to the pain, since I have had a lot of big tattoos the last few weeks! And more to come :) Only three weeks left till my next one, and that will be a one-shot twice the size of the one I did this weekend! :eek:
