Hi all,

Craig here, from North-East England.

I came across this site when searching for examples of tattoos that had been lightened via laser for cover-up work. I have a large tattoo on my torso that I'm looking to get covered up, having already had one laser session done. I intend on documenting my progress here which I hope will keep me motivated (the first laser session was a very bad one, as I'll later explain) as well as inspiring others.

I look forward to sharing my journey :)

Craig

Welcome aboard, look forward to you chronicling you laser removal adventures. Laser removal is a goal for 2014 for me and I could use any insight I can get. There have been others that have had laser removal treatments and went on to get some great tattoos in the treated area. Good luck to you.

Cheers!

    • sounds good ! don't forget to pre-hydrate tonight(water) ,and also before the tattoo be sure and eat a full healthy meal. The sweets and bananas are  perfect ! bring a few bottles of water to drink during the tattoo.remember to relax and you will do fine.
    • I'm getting my first tattoo in 12 hours! I've even traveled for it and I'm super excited. The artist said it'd take 7 hours and I really hope that it isn't 7 hours of straight tattooing.. I've packed sweets, two bananas, a book and a switch so I hope that'll be plenty of sugars and entertainment. Now to hope that I can sleep now that the time to get the tattoo is almost here! I'll be getting a sword and a bird in the black illustrative style, but I haven't seen the design yet. I can't wait!
    • Hey everyone. First post! I recently got my 10th tattoo. It’s right below my knee on the back of my calf. Today, 2-19-19 is day 10. As you can see the tail is healing really rough. It stared getting scabbed up on day 3. I’m doing what I’ve always done- wash 2-3 x a day. Then lotion with aveeno after. I’m worried it may be infected. It’s itchig/ kind of hurts which is probably normal but that redness is worrisome. What do you guys think? Any advice is appreciated. The last pic is what it looked like on Thursday (day 4)
