  1. Sun is your enemy, like everyone stated above. Thank god I have not done my forearms yet, so tshirts are still my thing. Putting lotion on them now is fine, and it will make them look more "fresh" but not doing anything really.
  2. Seriously might print this off and hang it up in my office....
  3. This thread is getting locked because there is nothing really to add to this.
  4. I also document my tattoos quite a bit, but that's more because I am a data nerd. It would be interesting if you did this for 5-10 years to really see how they hold up. Thanks for sharing
  5. I think you are thinking of certain red food dyes. Some use crushed bugs to make the red color.
  6. Bahahaha. Damn how I wish I was there for that one! Although I would have probably offered to tattoo her right there in the bar, just to see what she would say. Also now I'm kinda thinking that a Schrodinger's cat tattoo would be pretty fun. (also a ton more fun than getting an equation!). Yea pulled one of those myself before. Woops, the whiskey made the comment come out a little quicker
  7. I still remember the last "casual Friday" I wore a short sleeve button up to work for the last time ever.
  8. He doesnt need sleeves on his shirt he already has one!
  9. I knew I heard it somewhere else. It was mentioned on BME awhile ago right?
  10. I moved this thread to the correct section
  11. I gave the honest opinion you were looking for. I was not thinking too deeply, but wondering what you were trying to get out of this thread.
  12. No I do not. I also don't understand what you are trying to get at with this thread.
  13. Yea I've only gotten that one recently, but I can say it does "feel funny". It feels funny to watch someone touching your tattoos in amazement haha
  14. The one thing I can point out is, you can be very, very heavily tattooed and still hold a job in a Fortune 50 company. This is a fact, and actually a big myth. As a manager I can say this. I would have a bigger issue with you showing that much skin at a job over that actual tattoos. I generally do frown upon this at work already. While men (in suits) generally have the most clothes coverage, I feel woman should also dress very conservatively at work. This means a suit or long dress and at least 3/4 sleeves. With even that you have over 70% of your body covered! The only thing really showing on me at work is my neck up and my hands! The corporate office is not a place for creative dress. (Damn I sound like my dad)
  15. You sir might be crazy, but that is one hell of a tattoo, and one hellva oneshot!
  16. I wounder who from FST will be there. Maybe @Valerie Vargas and @Stewart Robson?
  17. Reaper with a top hat, fighting a panther, standing on an 8 ball. Yes that was an actual conversation I had with a tattooer about my own coverup. Shit would cover anything. Realistically, you will have to talk to a tattooer, and see their take. I might get mine zapped a few times with a laser to open the possibilities up quite a bit (especially for black). Any tattooer I've talked to mentioned laser first (even just a few to lighten it up). That being said if you are just asking for anything that would cover that up on the internet, expect everyone to run along the lines of "pather, top hat, 8-ball, black koi, oil spill, etc)

  21. Well I can say that I will probably end up pretty much covered in the far (but not too distant) future. That being said I plan my tattoos based around where there is space, where other tattoos are/will be and mostly to be more cohesive to some degree. Just because I'm leaning toward heavy coverage doesn't mean I'm not planning it just as meticulously as ones who are not. For myself, there is a balance I must have so that the tattoos on either side or surrounding compliment the others. Like the clouds on my left leg-sleeve are mirrored on my right side knee demon. I also prefer to have some gaps between different artists. There is also a degree of planning for how visible my tattoos are to a point, in regards to work. Neck up and wrists down are definet no-gos at the moment. I am still debating on my forearms since I like to roll up my shirt sleeves at work. Hands are my retirement present. Basically I would like it to look like it all makes sense when I'm staring at myself in the mirror.
  22. You can always PM the mods me, @hogg, @steve1461686340, @tammy, @Iwar, and @gougetheeyes if you have a question. I will PM you in a second.
  23. There were a sport or two I want touched up since it is kinda noticeable in a very large area of solid black. Other than that I could care less
