So i believe its or responsibility to talk about it more.Sometimes we have to put back the artistic ego and just work for the good of the customer.I think tattooing is a big thing with huge history and traditions. We have to take more from the past than hurry to put our mark in a way,

There is a lot of talking about tattooing and more about "the art of tattooing".Sometimes it seems like tattooing is somehow an "academical" art (sorry if my english are not excellent) and a lot are told about the design-the "piece of art".I consider tattooing somehow more technical than artistic and respecting the rule that the tattoo has to live through time the better possible i feel that i cant break some "red lines" which is the outline, the scale, the use of black color a lot and a lot more.
I think there is not a lot of talking about this and a lot of tattooers puts art above tattooing..

from a customer point of view, Im not personally bothered about the artistic skill of the tattooist in terms of making it look real but rather the vibe of what they do and how easy it is to make out.
The real full on massive tattoos with loads of color that a few guys are doing such as nick baxter, I do like, but i like it in a photo more than when i see it in real life. I prefer small tattoos so you get dudes with arms that have no real composition to the whole limb with small tattoos everywhere. I find with this you get a sense of where the dudes head was at the time he had each tattoo done!
I want a tattoo to look like a tattoo but still want my artist to do more than just regurgitate some very traditional tattoo cliche, i want a traditional looking tattoo with that artists personality stamped on it!

if you cannot make out the tattoo from 10+ feet away with only the black completed, you don't have a tattoo. you have a pile of shit.
if you do not use a black outline on 99% of a tattoo, you don't have a tattoo. you have a pile of shit.

That is a terrible analogy. You are related something like tattooing (a personal choice) to something like surgery (a medical need). Of course a surgeon is going to get surgery if he or she needs it. BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE IN THEIR 'CRAFT'. If someone believes in putting needle to skin and permanently marking people with images of pure humanity, if they truly believe in it, he or she will commit to it and live by that belief by getting tattoos.

    He's not a prison tattooer.
The person getting the tattoo is not a con.
Prison tattooers do not have the luxury of wandering around shops or finding disgarded VCRs, when gathering parts to build their machines.
    It's tattooed in a park.
I assume Scott Cambell is not using prison type pigment.
It dosn't look like a prison tattoo.
But it does look like a load of pretentious tosh.
Watching a tattooing sequence from the "The Mark of Cain" is far more interesting.

I see some guys TRYING HARD to play the lawyers of not tattooed tattooers!!!!WHY?
A lot of guys put it very correct so its no need to say more to proove that -come on guys!!!!of course you should be heavily tattooed if you are a tattooer. Its a matter of love and need at first. You cant do otherwise. No if we need 4-5 pages of talking to find that yes there are 3-4 tattooers -respectful tattooers-that says it all.
