    Hi all

    Welcome to LST!
  2. Unbelievable, @RoryQ! You know you wanna fill in the navel, though. ;)
  3. Did you get that at Roses and Panthers? And I agree with you about his hand. He tattooed a collar rocker on my at Diamond Club years ago. I was a little nervous beforehand, but he said, "I'm angel soft." I thought he was being a smartass, but it was true!
  4. Henning is a master. That is perfect, @BrianH. Congrats!

    hello

Perfectly normal. And on the topic of imperfect tattoos, I like what Thom DeVita says. Something like "any imperfections only add to its beauty." It's a human-applied art form. Consider those human touches. And welcome to LST!
  6. I love that, @cookietruck. So rad that you got an Irons design from Bob, too. I got this from Ben Grillo yesterday: He applied it with a single needle and a shoehorn. The photo does it no justice; this is far and away my most detailed tattoo. I can wait to see it healed.

    Spam

You're as special as @Hogrider, @Cork, @KBeee, and @someotherguy. Weird that someone signed up just to spam via PMs, but they have received a death blow from the banhammer.
  8. A few questions for you: 1. Are you a tattooer? 2. Are you tattooed? Thanks in advance.
  9. Update: I filled in the inside of my right knee a month ago, and on Sunday, I'm having Ben Grillo fill in the outside.
  10. Nervio's a rad guy, @Guero. I got tattooed by him 9 years ago, and I used to see him all the time when he worked at Diamond Club. That's a really cool J-Man.
  11. I'm planning on going, but something just came up for Saturday. Looks like I might be spending the day there on Sunday instead.
  12. So you remembered, @Lance! I feel like his paintings have a Koji vibe, but his tattoos look fairly different to me. Cool stufff--thanks for the heads up.
  13. Haha. That reminds me of our conversation at the museum, @Lance. When I read your first post on this page, I thought you had decided. Of course you haven't. And I'm sure you're right: Jill will sort it all out and you'll end up with something incredible.
  14. Great collection! Welcome to LST. And if you're in American Canyon, I hope the quake didn't damage you or your place.
  15. So great, @Scott R! What were you doing in Austin (besides getting an awesome tattoo)?
  16. I got tattooed by Horimasa Tosui and thought the same thing. The Horitoshi style of tebori is really easy to deal with, but it IS slow.
  17. God damn! That is so awesome. I don't know if I've ever seen an oni like that one. How did you like the tebori sound and feel?
  18. @Cork, I'm telling you: Craigslist. I have six loadable DB handles and tons (disclaimer: not actually tons) of standard plates for them. I hooked up a 120-lb. DB for Kroc rows and have a pair of 50s lying around at all times. Maybe you can score a full set like I did, including 25-lb. standard plates. Or you could get these and use your oly plates: http://www.amazon.com/Olympic-Dumbbell-Handles-sold-Pair/dp/B002OB2BT6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=8-4&keywords=OLYMPIC+DUMBBELL+HANDLE
  19. That's bold as hell, @Guero. I really dig that.
