  1. Wow, hope no one ever memorializes me like that.
  2. Thanks for coming aboard. Your paintings are great, would LOVE to see some more work.

    Wow, that's awesome!
  4. Welcome to LST, glad to have another "solid dude" aboard! I enjoyed your and Loch's "Who's on first?" exchange. It would be great if you do get to go somewhere from meeting up with some other LST peeps. Do let me know if you have any questions regarding the site, and most importantly, have some fun. We'd love to see some of your paintings and tattoo pictures.

    Thanks,

    Dari

  5. About time!

Welcome aboard, lemme know if you have any questions. Please have some fun here, post anything you want, even if its all lies.

    See you next weekend?

  6. Thanks Patrick! I do have a some fab tats from some fab people, but only a few are substantially sized. Like I said, if I were a dude, I'd never date me, too much pink skin!

Never meant to be a "collector," I've just been in the right place at the right time a whole bunch.

Thanks for all your participation here!

  7. I'm not heavily tattooed, but here's my short list- Marcus Brooks (1st tattoo, friend's house, he has since passed) Jef Whitehead Eddy Deutsche (It's so small, it might not even count!) Dan Higgs (also tiny) Scott Sylvia Freddy Corbin Tim Lehi Mike Wilson Tim Hendricks Chummy Alexanian Hector Fong Thomas Hooper Like I said, I'm not heavily tattooed, but I'm happy with the names on my list so far. Although, if I were a dude with all this pink skin, I would never ever date me.
  8. Are they Bears? I thought they were some kind of Viking Warriors. This t-shirt was someday be the centerpiece of a tattoo t-shirt quilt, as soon as I get around to quilting.
  9. Chris- all I have to say about your Chris Brown encounter is "Wow." Kinda makes me want to make sure I only get "faggot shit" tattooed on me. And Nick, I'm gonna tell your old lady that you just called her a tramp.
  10. Nick, I'm proud to be a tramp, and that was the first spot I chose, long before I ever heard "tramp stamp." Guess it's just in my nature. And I'm pretty sure I'm gonna leave my ribs alone for a long long time.
  11. Thank you, I'm really enjoying your tattoo history posts. Keep them coming, along with the informative digressions.

    BEARDS!

Awesome, and thanks for the picture. And I'm pretty sure the look in your eyes might scare people as much as any beards or sweet tats!

    BEARDS!

I think it's time that we start addressing a very important subject- beards. Do you have one? Do you love a man or woman with a beard? If you're not sure where to start on this very important topic, you could always repurpose some of our tattoo questions and make them beard appropriate: When did you grow your first beard? Whose beards have you been influenced by? Experiences while traveling with beards? Funniest beard you've seen? Worst beard you've witnessed? Beard removal or coverup? Favorite celebrity beards? And is it okay for Brad Pitt to braid his beard because he's Brad Pitt? Appropriating ideas from other beards? Best beard care? These questions are just for a jumping off point, please don't feel limited by them. And most importantly, we want pictures!
  14. Hey Dani, Thanks for dropping in! Please make yourself at home. Dari
  15. We should have a separate forum to discuss beards. Thanks to Scott's beard, we're often called "The Beards," and I will answer to Mama Beard. Beard Thread Link
  16. Andreas, We definitely decompress with the television around here! I have a few friends who don't let their kids watch tv, but I said no way to that, as it's a huge part of our "family culture!" I think that there's so much interacting with the public and catering to the customers wants and needs that tattooers need to just sit and be entertained without any obligation of participating whatsoever.

I just thought of a super classy little gem in Santa Cruz, Klem's shop, Samuel O'Reilly's Tattoo Parlour. We went down for the opening party, and it was just like a really well-built cute little house. They must've employed every finish carpenter in Santa Cruz to pull that one off! Definitely worth a visit, and Klem's a great guy. http://www.oreillystattoo.com/
