  1. Re-read the response. You don't know what it's going to look like until it heals. 4-6 weeks. There is no point in worrying until then. There is NOTHING you can do. EVERYONE'S tattoo looks like shit while it's healing and peeling. Tattoos are not perfect. There is NO tattoo that you can't find something wrong with if you look hard enough. If you can't get past the perfectionist, I wouldn't get any more tattoos because you'll A) make yourself miserable obsessing over the tattoo or B) completely ruin the tattoo trying to "fix" it. You have a nice tattoo there, quit ruining it for yourself and just enjoy it.
  2. A full sleeve would be twice as much as a half sleeve. ;-) Don't cheap out, don't rush or you'll wind up even more unhappy. I always get anxious when people start asking "how much." It's usually followed by "how do I fix this."
  3. They look good. What did you want to touch up?
  4. What @oboogie said, times 10!!! That poor tat is drowning. You won't know until it's healed, four to six weeks out. On another topic, why would you go to someone that isn't that experienced?
  5. I think it's going to be hard to get a top quality sleeve done in three days, just my opinion. Good work and careful attention to detail takes time. If you can sit for three full days, more power to you; I don't think there is a reason not to.
  6. Please specify what "Acting Weird" means. Your back looks like it's glistening, just a guess, but I think you are using way too much moisturizer. Try letting it dry heal for a day or two and see what happens. Meantime, if you are really worried, see a doctor.
  7. I think what you're feeling is probably normal. How did you pick your artist?
  8. I'm 61 and have no problem healing. Every tattoo doesn't heal exactly the same. Maybe this one is just being finicky.
  9. If you're worried, see a doctor. Otherwise, leave it alone. 5 days in I'd just let it heal by itself. I don't see anything that looks suspicious and your artist says it's fine.
  10. Any reason you can't post it here?
  11. Awful. Not saying it to be hurtful, but that looks like a scratcher tattoo. Maybe it's the pic.
  12. I wouldn't go back. It doesn't matter how recommended the shop is or who they did a good job on. Just my opinion.
  13. That looks really rough. Did you get that done at a shop??
  14. Sun is almost certainly going to do more damage than rubbing against your shirt. I don't think there is an answer to your question. I think it depends on a lot of factors. As far as being dull, you won't know what it's going to look like until it's healed in 4 to 6 weeks. There's just no getting around that.
  15. A lot of people have temporary tattoo remorse, but it wears off. I've never had it so I can't relate, although I do have the occasional "Oh shit, look at all that ink" moments. Not in a bad way, not in a good way, it's just shocking to look in the mirror once in a while.

    Hi

This isn't a "learn how to tattoo" site. Seriously, if you want to learn, go through an apprenticeship and do it right. You are damaging your skin.

    Hi

Just stop, that is painful to look at.
  18. We are telling you, you're not listening. Antibiotics don't cure allergies.
  19. An allergy and infection are two different things. If your doctor said you have an infection, that doesn't mean you are allergic. I agree with @JAC1961 - If I got an infection twice at the same shop, I'd find a new shop. Who knows what else you could get.
  20. Great minds think alike. I was looking at it thinking, "When that goes south, time for a panther."
  21. Putting that tattoo on you without warning you what was going to happen is just wrong. I wouldn't go back to that shop. Everybody's skin is different; there is no way to tell if it will last one year, three years or ten years. Enjoy the tattoo right now. There is NOTHING you can do now anyway. And forget about learning to tattoo.

    Hi!

No way to know until you ask. I'm lucky, I have sparse, light hair, but if I was as hairy as a gorilla, I still wouldn't shave.

    Hi!

Other than shaving your chest hair for the appointment, what maintenance do you think you'll have to do? I put cocoa butter on my tattoos a couple times a week, but that's it; any many people don't even do that.
