  1. There's always going to be someone to find something wrong with your tattoo. If you like it, get it and don't worry about what other people think it means.

A lot of that "my tattoo means ..." comes from reality TV. Most of the people I know, myself included, got their tattoos because they liked the image, not because it had some special meaning. I've got most of my body suit completed and I don't have a single thing that has special meaning to me other than I like the imagery.

Ok. Makes absolutely no difference to me. But it is what happened. It was ACTUALLY a burn from a heavy hand.

But, yes, I agree, there is nothing of value for me here.

    Carry on.

How can we miss you if you won’t go away??

Hi, thanks for the welcome. It's only 8 days old so pretty early days - the area around it all seems to have healed nice, it's just the one specific line really where it seems to be a bit scabby still, normally mine are all healed up by around the 10 day mark so there's time yet!

The hardest part of getting tattoos is waiting for them to heal!

  4. Welcome to the forum. I can't really tell if it's overworked from the pic. Sometimes things heal rough no matter how good the tattooer is or how good care you take of it. How long ago did you get it? In general they take 4-6 weeks to heal, longer if they scab heavily. Worst case scenario, you can usually fix it with a touch up.

Based on your description and the picture, it is possible that the raised and rough area on the back of your calf is still in the process of healing. While the healing process for a tattoo typically takes around 2-3 weeks, it can take up to several months for the skin to fully heal and regenerate.

The raised and rough texture may be due to the build-up of scar tissue or excess collagen, which can occur as the skin repairs itself. This is a natural part of the healing process, and in many cases, the rough texture will gradually improve over time.

It is also possible that the raised area may be the result of an allergic reaction or infection, although these are less common. If you experience any pain, redness, or swelling around the tattoo, or if the raised area does not improve over time, it is important to consult with a medical professional to rule out any complications.

In the meantime, continue to follow your artist's advice by keeping the tattoo moisturized and avoiding any activities that may irritate or damage the area. With time and proper care, the rough and raised area should eventually smooth out and blend in with the rest of the tattoo.

First post is shilling your site. Wham, Bam, thank you Ma'am, don't even buy us a drink first.

This is the equivalent of walking into a bar and saying, "Hey, I have a bar down the street, come on down there to drink." It's just Fckn rude.

People like this dumbass always come back. Hope he stays away. Bye, fuckface!

I always laugh at these dick heads whose first post is shilling their crap and get all butt hurt when they get called on it. Too bad we can’t make someone wait  until they have ten posts before they can post a link.

Two posts and on to my ignore list. That’s new record. Being an ass hole to the people who have been on this forum for years is not the best way to introduce yourself.  When your first post is shilling your shit product, that tells all we need to know.

For the record, I don’t have to show you jack shit, and couldn’t care less about your opinions on my ink.

Hi I'm new too but didnt see a sign-up area. I'm a realism tattoo artist and I work with Wicked Tattoo and Supplies LLC a newer company that focuses only on hyper-realistic fake tattoo skins that are cheaper price than others.

Take a minute to read what this forum is about. It’s not a forum for scratchers who want to buy supplies. It’s a forum for tattoo enthusiasts. You’re welcome here to talk about tattoos, you’re not welcome here to market your crap.

Ha! I didnt remove anything because of any response I received. I forgot how to return to this page, as I found it at work and I just never logged back in.

I actually didnt remove anything. Next, I found out what the issue was and it was corrected. To be perfectly honest, I just wondered if any other artist

had seen this before, because to date, I have only found one other person whom has. I am actually in the medical field, therefore it was 100% acceptable

practice to pre-medicate with OTC meds and a steroid.

But hey, a quick search at work brought me back, accidentally, so I am very glad I could clear that up.

I guess it was a specter that removed it. Please feel free to forget this page again, no one believes your bullish!t.

    That makes sense.

Do you have pics on this site?Have you used the same artist the whole time?

No, I’ve never put up pics of the whole thing. Too many crazies out there for me to want to be easily identifiable. Yes, I have used the same artist the whole time. I went in to get a kokopeli and wound up with a sleeve, then a chest panel, another sleeve, full back and on from there.

Before the pimple pop up, I've been moisturizing it with a unscented aveeno lotion once a day (every night when im going to bed, i put a decent amount of lotion)

Three weeks in, I’d just stop with the moisturizer for a week and let it dry out. You shouldn’t be putting a lot on. Too little is better than too much.

It is generally best to avoid sleeping on a new tattoo for at least the first few days to avoid irritation or damage of design appearance.

However, if you have neck issues it can be difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position. But here are a few tips that may help you to find comfortable postilion, instead of sleeping on back:

    1. Use a supportive pillow: Make sure your pillow provides enough support for your neck and head, and keep the pillow at a thickness. And it will keep your head and neck in a neutral position.
    2. Use a neck roll: A neck roll can be placed behind the neck to provide extra support and keep the neck in a neutral position.
    3. Use a memory foam pillow: Memory foam pillows mold to the shape of your head and neck, providing optimal support and comfort.

Sleeping on a tattoo doesn’t damage the design. The ink is embedded under THE SKIN.
