Oboogie, scab came off. I think because it is in the crease every time I bend my arm the skin was separating. Again, I’m a nurse I definitely know better than to mess with scabs on wounds.
Not judging you. Nurse or not, people pick at tattoos all the time.

SStu yep. This morning the scab came off completely and it took off a few layers of skin.
Did you remove the scab, or did it actually fall off?

Keep it clean, but don't keep futzing with it and putting too much stuff on it. I'd just wash it a couple times of day and maybe use a dab of lotion once a day.
I dry heal—I just keep it clean with Dial Gold (maybe wash it twice a day), and let it heal. I don't put anything on it.

Do you think i could get that fixed? Its probably hard because its in the middle of the whole text.. I think its weird that nobody noticed it. Now i look stupid and just want that damn tattoo removed.
I don't think so. It will be difficult to correct. Maybe just live with it for a while and get it covered up by someone who specializes in coverups? That seems the best bet. I'm sorry that happened.

I am so sorry. We have an 11.5 year old Great Dane who is getting close. It's so hard.

What he said. Staring at it won't make it heal faster.
She. But I'm glad we agree. 🙂

Just relax. Seriously.

Remove it. Once it is breached, it isn't effective anymore.
-
Don't get anymore tattoos. You're not cut out for it. Good luck.

You should probably think of animals and elements of nature you like. Or ask your artist. We don't know what you should get tattooed on you.
-
Lots of people have, all over this forum. Just use search.

It's six days old. It's healing. Keep it clean and just let it heal.

What @Hogrider said.

No idea what it is. I got the tattoo touched up. It's still there. It's fine.
But yeah, don't do that worst case scenario thing. No tattoo is going to be perfect, and you are likely to obsess like that, I really wouldn't get any more tattoos because you will drive yourself insane.

I've had a spot like that on a tattoo I got 9 years ago. It's just a bump. I think you are worrying too much. Just wait a while and see what happens with it. I've never heard of a dermatologist telling someone to get a tattoo removed.

What Hogrider said. It's up to you. We can't tell you where to get tattooed on your body.

New tattoo - need advise...

Yeah, Hogrider is right. Just enjoy your tattoo. Quit staring at it with a microscope. You will hate it more if you have the artist start futzing with it.
I have NEVER looked at any of my many, many tattoos with such scrutiny. It is an art form, FFS. Enjoy your art. Stop obsessing.
