  1. mattyrx Ill mostly post pictures of newer paintings and the weird signs , houses and graffiti scribblins I find in New Orleans....join me , won't you?.. If anyone is really interested in me posting all the Fluer di Lys I tattoo on tatted tourists, I can do that too..

  2. Red is made from fire and Blue, obviously, is made from clouds. I also been told by clients that fatty and boney parts hurt more to get tatted, or hurt less, depending. That tat guns go a "million times" a second. That Kat Von D is the most famous tattooer. Of course, there are always the stories that still persist of the ol " fox hunt" tattoo that they're buddy's uncle had. That female tattooers hurt less (especially Kat Von D). Oh ,and where can I get that skin -colored ink to tattoo over unwanted tattoos..Bill WaverLy? I'm lookin at you....

  3. Just curious about the general LST'ers think about this....Top Chef/Project Runway for tattooers? Not too sure what my opinion is yet..peep the trailer on Spike's website..First thing that I thought was odd was the fact that several of the "contestants" already are well " established", and own shops ,and put out books and CD-ROMS and all that jazz..

  4. I got told by Albrigo that if and when the time comes to leave, that Bink will cut them in square foot peices and give them to friends who have visited that space. kind of a cool idea...its a pretty ridiculous painting- " far- out" is puttin it lightly....

And I dont mind at all if people gank stuff from my blog..especiall to post here...

  5. Ha KyleGrey peeped my facebook...those tattoos are all on my friend Paul...he got a lot a tattoos at Realistic and Tatto City back in 90-91..he also has a couple from Fred Corbin and Eddy Deutsche from that era as well,...yeah some that stuff Dan did didn't always age so well, but the designs are awesome..the Frankenstein is amazing

  6. Something I've been mulling over for years, and after watching that interview with Bryan Burk ,kinda solidified it, but how important is it for you to know exactly where your supplies come from. Really trying to gauge this as how much effort is worth it to be honest with ourselves about who we get needles, ink, grips, even something as simple as grommets from? I know on a personal level who I've bought machines from, and I pretty much only use pigment I've made, someone I work with has made, or Waverly , whom is run by a amn I call a good friend( and Bill's stuff is the best, I've been in his 'lab' and it's top- notch). But I've stopped making needles these past two-three years. Spent a couple bucks and ordered them directly from the factory in China that makes EVERYBODIES needles..Simple things like that. I can buy a 24$ "Eikon style" power supply, but do I ( We?) really want to support that, and in a sense, "cheapen" what we do? Should we all stop being so lazy, and try and rekindle that DIY spirit that tattooings all about? Also, if anyone wants to offer up venues to recommend where someone can buy supplies made for tattooers, by tattooers..that would be appreciated.
