  1. What do you guys have against the Pacific Northwest? I know the rain sucks, but Richard can tattoo indoors.
  2. Are you getting tattooed by Bob Roberts this week. How about a photo?
  3. Don't be afraid. Matt has tattooed me for close to 30 hours, and it has never been that painful, compared to some other tattoos I have gotten. Too bad you get back on the 21st. My wife and I will be there getting tattooed this Saturday.
  4. I like Bulleit Bourbon. It is not that expensive, but still very good quality. Also Booker's Bourbon. It is 126 proof, and feels like fire, but it is still very enjoyable.
  5. Adding on to that your Brad Fink is going to be at Frith Street. Will you guys be getting something?
  6. Kris is a great tattooer, and a really nice guy. Good choice.
  7. That was by far and away the coolest post I have seen on this forum. I am guessing that your dad is not a banker. Those hand tattoos are as cool as it gets.
  8. Small Paul Stotller is a very versatile and talented tattooer. I don't ever remember seeing his name mentioned on this forum, but he is really good, and can work in pretty much every style.
  9. Bryan Burk, Jeff Cribb, Josh Arment. All dudes that were interviewed, that are pretty versatile. Bryan Bruno kills shit, as does Mike Rennie both at Absolute Art. Timothy Hoyer, Clay Decker, Brandon Munday, Paco Excel, Jeff Zuck. Fuck there are too many to name, but I still think Mike Wilson is my favourite all around tattooer.
  10. Add Tim Lehi and Jason Brooks to this list. That rounds out my top five.
  11. He is a great artist, and a great dude. Proud to call him a friend.
  12. Hey Kev, I don't have a blog, but a good friend of mine does. Since you are interested in grafitti I thought you might like it. wackytupaky
  13. I have never seen one of his tattoos that I would want on me, but everyone I have ever seen was incredible. I love looking at his tattoos. The shit he has in Tattoo Time is so good, and not all that vulgar compared to a lot of his work.
  14. Fair enough, but it doesn't make it any less cool. I doubt that Don would have left anyone whether it was a woman or a man sitting there by themselves in that situation. But that is probably one of the many reasons you married him and not Roy Boy.
  15. I don't think there are a lot of photos of it out there, but I remember seeing some pretty cool stuff that Chris Garver did. Especially the Chola girls, and skulls.
  16. It is a great tattoo, and I am pretty sure that it is the best use of a belly-button in any tattoo I have ever seen. With the exception of the Popeye tattoo in the book 1000 Tattoos.
  17. I am looking forward to getting tattooed by him as well. I have to get my back finished up before I start on anything else, but Lit Fuse is my next stop after that. Also my wife has mostly black and grey work on her arms, and she is going to have Marco finish up them up. He is probably better known for his black and grey, but he does great traditional stuff as well. I have gotten to see quite a few of his tattoos in person, and everyone of them was pretty exceptional.
  18. Marco Hernandez is a great tattooer. He owns Lit Fuse in Olympia, WA. It is hard to find examples of his work online, but he does have an Instagram account. He is very versatile, and his lettering is as good as anyone around.
  19. I am glad that this is all working out for you. I do not think that it is impolite to ask about pricing. There is a big difference between haggling with someone, and wanting to know what to expect so that you can prepare for it.
  20. Are you sure that wasn't a wax statue of Erik Estrada?
  21. Call him now if you want to get in. I am going on April 2nd. Hogg is a week or so before me. I think that we are both picking something off of the wall, but if you want him to draw something up he needs a deposit.
  22. Looks like a bunch of us are going to be in LA next month. Hogg and I are getting tattooed by Bob Roberts, and you are seeing Bryan. I really wanted to get tattooed by Bryan as well, but time and money will not permit. I do not know when I will be back in LA, and I don't know if I will ever get another chance to get tattooed by Bob. Most likely Bryan will be tattooing for many more years, and I will have other opportunities to get work from him.
