  1. What if you mix up a bunch of styles on your body, especially something where people try to get some sort of theme and coherence on, like an arm? If you like the neo-traditional and cartoon stuff what if you get that and then some older sort of tattoos, something like Dietzel/Sailor Jerry/Eric Maaske or something like that, will you just wind up looking like a douche? That kind of has me nervous because I like both styles.

  2. Reminding me of this guy in town I know because we're both Minnesota Vikings fans. He's got a Studebaker commander and it rules. I've always wanted a Studebaker but I don't think I'm going to have the money for a long time.

  3. Atheist here. Both my parents are Atheists too.

Just finished "God, No!" by Penn Jillette and "the God delusion" by Dawkins actually. I'm contemplating picking up Hitchens' "God is not great" next. Anyone read it?

God Is Not Great is a wait for it...wait for it...

    Great book.

I particularly enjoyed his revised, 21st Century Edition smashing of Mother Theresa.

  4. Nick Colella told me he has been tattooing a professor that works in Chicago for something like 10 years, and the guy has knuckle tattoos and all, so there's that.

    Tenure?

With it being prime time for people to enlist in the military I think it is appropriate to state that the policies regarding tattoos were quite relaxed and reduced when people were needed during the heights of the wars and the surge, particularly the Army and the Navy. Both of those branches, however, have really reduced recruiting goals and have stiffened up tattoo regulations again.

Here are some proposed Army 2012 regulations for changes to appearance codes. The biggest thing is that the Army may ban both hand tattoos (were banned, then allowed so long as they were not "prejudicial to good order") and a prohibition on "sleeve" tattoos. Neck tattoos seem to be getting the kibosh as well because it would be impossible for them not to be visible while wearing the Army Physical Fitness Uniform.

  5. I'm just happy the Facebook stock price is in the toilet. The site is just a CIA/NSA front, anyhow.

I thought if you were going to connect bath salts to pro wrestling you would have used an Ultimate Warrior promo.

  6. I can see that. There are a bit less than 3 million believers in Judaism according to that article. Muslims are far less than that, same with Hindus and Buddhists. I can only imagine that being something like 7 or 8 million people.

Atheism, if it were at 5 percent would be a bit over 15 million if you go out of a population of 310 million people and consider everybody, not just adults.

  7. Well, for Japan I suppose.

    I did not know this...

David Silverman, president of American Atheists, said, “Atheists are the fastest-growing religious subgroup in all fifty states. There are more atheists in this country than there are Jews, Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists combined and doubled.”

“So many Americans claim no religion at all (15%, up from 8% in 1990), that this category now outranks every other major U.S. religious group except Catholics and Baptists. In a nation that has long been mostly Christian, “the challenge to Christianity … does not come from other religions but from a rejection of all forms of organized religion,” the report concludes. “

  8. Haven't had anything to drink yesterday or today. Thank God.

I'm thinking about reconciliation with the Lutheran church so I have to talk to a pastor and do some Bible study classes. I'm kinda nervous. I need to pick a side and stick with it.

Still, it seems like the Lutheran religion is going away. There are more Muslims in America than Lutherans, for instance.

  9. I thought "raised in a barn" meant you violating something related to physical politeness and propriety. Like...

"Take your hat off before dinner! You weren't raised in a barn."

I was kinda raised in a barn when I was a kid, though.

The sun tattoo thing with words under it will just remind everybody of Raisin Bran With Two Scoops, though. Or Sublime.

  10. What about the gym and laundry?

It seems like the world is becoming less religious but do you think any religion could take the place of the current ones?

  11. With all do respect, do you also believe in the following:

Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Tooth-fairy and Unicorns? In their original versions not interpreted.... ????

No (Krampus is real though), No, No, Hell Yeah.
