Now I see more clearly why we have the 10 thoughtful posts till you are able to create you own posts. Imagine if the above toolbag had free reign to be able to create posts when first starting? We'd be bombarded with garbage.
Excuse me?

Personally, I'd throw some more black in that bad boy.

If you want to get booked in with Freddy I suggest you start hitting him up now, he can get pretty booked up.
I'm pretty sure Freddy is fully booked for the next 3 months then he's taking a month off after that, I believe, and has yet to start scheduling appointments for when he starts back up again. You can call up Temple and leave your name, number, and what you want to get and they'll put you on the list for when he starts booking himself up again.

I will have to buy through Bandcamp then. I'll make sure to kick in a little extra...it is well worth it.
Shit, dude. I really appreciate that. :)
Thanks so much again!

I listened to your stuff and then promptrly forgot who on here made the music. IT WAS AMAZING. I loved every single second of it. Is there a way to get a physical copy of a CD or vinyl or something?
Oh man! Thanks so much, dude!
Currently it's only available in digital form because I self-funded and recorded all of it myself at my apartment and don't have the funds as of yet to get physical copies put together, unfortunately. :(
Ideally, I'll find some label support through shopping it around who will help finance some CDs or Vinyls, but for the time being it's only available by purchase through the bandcamp site.
Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm so flattered and so glad you liked it! :)

Good for you. Just finally getting around to listening to your music now. Sounds really good.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that! It truly means a lot to me. :)
And thank you so much for your support @ChrisvK too!

My former studio, Oddball studios, and Atlas Tattoo, are a must see.
Those two spots are shops I'm definitely going to have to check out!
-
I'm not taking anywhere near as big or exciting a plunge as @ChrisvK, but I decided I was sick of making excuses and working a 9 to 5 I don't love, and I'm packing up my things and moving all the way across the country to try and make an honest go at things with my music in a new city with a new scene. It's a smaller leap of faith, for sure, but it feels like a leap of faith nonetheless and I couldn't be more excited about it!

I've been going to one shop (Kings Ave Tattoo) but getting tattooed by different people there.
Hehe. I'd say that if you're lucky enough to be able to call Kings Ave your home shop no one would really be able to question your decision to get tattooed there exclusively. :)
I, personally, wish I had that luxury!
Good on you though!

Scapegoat Tattoo in Portland has some rad artists, and is a vegan shop.
Oh man!
The stuff coming out of Scapegoat looks amazing.
I'm super into the stuff Aaron J. Dubois is putting on people.
I'll definitely have to make it out to this shop.
Thanks, @Mr. Smith

I live in Vancouver. When you get here message me, if you would like to, and maybe we can meet up. I probably average at least one trip a month to Liberty in Seattle. Next weekend I am going down to Olympia to get tattooed by Marco Hernandez. I can also steer you in the direction of some good Vegan restaurants.

Shit yeah.
I move to Vancouver officially on March 1st.
I'll definitely be in touch!

another great shop in Vancouver at New Town Bakery ... they don't make tattoos, but their steamed buns are the best! my fam drives up from Seattle and buys 'em by the dozen. good luck on your move!
Thanks, dude!
Fingers crossed that they've got some vegan steamed buns. :)

if you're closer to Oregon, ♔ AWR ♔OH MAN! I had no idea that Jason Kundell has moved up to Oregon!

are you gonna be living in Vancouver? i think there was a thread about Vancouver shops that went around.
also, GOVERNMENT STREET TATTOO - VICTORIA BC caught my eye, if you're in that neck of the woods.
Yup! I'm moving to Vancouver, but I'm already aware of a few of the better shops in the city and I'm curious about branching out of there to see what else is around in surrounding areas (Seattle, Portland, etc.) that I'm sure have a bunch of great talent.
Also, Government Street Tattoo is a GREAT shop! Chris David is a super solid dude and a really great tattooer. Glennie from The Pearl in Toronto guests out there quite a bit too. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or anyone debating checking it out.

Matt Arriola's tattoos look unreal from the tiny Instagram pictures of them, I would love to get tattooed by him.
Totally. His work looks so awesome.
I'll definitely need to make the trip down to Seattle at some point to make this happen...

Forgive me if this has already been discussed at length, but I tried searching for a topic like this and couldn't find any info about it.
I'm moving from the east coast to the west coast in the next few weeks and I'm trying to increase the Rolodex of shops/tattooers to check out in that neck of the woods.
My knowledge of west coast tattooers is pretty limited to California (namely just in SF and Oakland), but I was curious who you all recommend checking out in the Pacific Northwest area while I'm living out there.
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions!

Make sure and post a photo. When I get down to San Francisco Rassier is my top pick. I just booked an appointment with Steve Byrne for the first week of February.
Will do!
He's gonna do a tiger head with a dagger going through it on my right calf.
I'm sure it'll turn out great.

Just booked an appointment with Jeff Rassier for next week...
I'm beyond excited.
...And another one the following day with Jason Mcafee (there was no way I was going to head to the Bay Area and not stop by Temple again).
I love SF trips so hard!

Tim Lee 3. Just country-esque rock from Knoxville. Doesn't always do it for me, but his guitar tone, unreal.
Cool.
I'll check him out for sure.
Thanks!

I just got tattooed by Cody Zeek at Scapegoat Tattoo yesterday.
He's a crazy nice dude, a great tattooer, and the shop is wicked cool.
