I am guessing she got the bird fourth pic down, of the recent pics that would fit @else best, because of the color scheme and it's not a tattoo on a guy's chest like many of the others. That skull in the first pic, tough.
I thought it was the bird too, but then I wasnt quite sure. Else, verify things!

They sold needles and ink to my sister's friend, who is 21 years old and tattoos out of his house.

I went to a tattoo shop I've never been to before to get my cartilage pierced and to get my sister's nose pierced. It was not a very high quality shop, as far as the work they produce, honestly I thought it was terrible. But the piercings were a decent price and sanitary. And they did have me fill out paperwork which I never had to do before, so at least they kept with the law.
Anyway, they had a glass case full of tattoo supplies that they would sell to just anyone. Shaders, liners, etc were 5 bucks per package, and the machines themselves were a good amount more. they also had ink.
What kind of tattoo shop does that?
Like seriously, I was shocked and appalled and it finalized my decision never to get anything more than a piercing there.

That makes me furious... as an adult the pain of a tattoo is hard to bear, but to put that on little more than a toddler? Just wrong.

I've been holding off on dropping the bag on this, but you guys are one of the first groups of people I have wanted to tell. Keeping it quiet for the last few months has been tough. I've started apprenticing with my good friend Jason Setchel in Roanoke, Virginia. It's been a while coming. It's been a while convincing myself this is something I could even do. But tattoos and tattoo art are the biggest joy I have in life, and I'm stoked that I have someone who I trust who thinks I have what it takes to be a solid tattooer. My only goal is to keep the soul of tattooing alive and well. Luckily, you fine folks do a damn good job at it. It's amazing that you all are here.
Congrats man!!! The best of luck to you. Maybe some day we'll be talking about your work on here :P

How's it going everyone, my name is James and I'm originally from Southern California and recently moved the the Bay Area to work as a teacher.
I had only gotten one tattoo prior to moving up here, and am excited to be around so many great shops. However, I think I might have been a little too excited.
I just got my second tattoo yesterday and now feeling some remorse because it's on the same arm as my first, and right now they don't really flow together. In addition, they're both black and grey, but styles are different as my orchids are pretty soft. There's tons of empty arm space left (which also looks pretty awkward) so I'm thinking it'll be something that fixes itself as the arm gets filled up?
Any reassurance/advice on how to think about filling the rest of the arm? I want to proceed with caution as I continue to get work done.
Abridged Version:
Pics show what I have so far
Like both separately, but want advice on how to proceed with caution to make sure everything looks kosher as I continue to get more work done.
That's a great second tattoo! Seriously, soooo many people come onto this forum with this anxiety. My advice is, let it develop. You have two pieces on one arm, flowers and The Virgin of Guadalupe. Nothing wrong with that. If you really get too concerned about flow, you can have your flowers redone to flow better with the virgin. They look like they need a bit more black to hold up over time anyway! But, even if you left them untouched, you could still create flow, because you have so much upper arm space left

I see it all over the place in people's tattoos, lots of teal, greens, yellow, usually teal and yellow right next to each other
Think like Stevie Edge's color scheme he uses in alot of his tattoos.
FUCKING RAD .
Seriously, I love it.
Dont know how to describe it, but yeah, I love it so much. I've seen it alot, but no one around in my town gets tattoos in those colors, which makes me wonder if any of the tattooers around here would be down to do it?

I dont have any particular like or dislike of snakes. I wouldnt choose to be around one, nor do they scare me. But i'd like a snake tattoo

obviously the tattoo is brand new in that picture, Im assuming they shaved to put the tattoo on. Ink in your skin wont prevent hair growth

Lucky I found this thread! The other night I had a dream I went to go get a tattoo with my sister. I don't remember what I asked for, but when it was down, it was a purple new school rabbit on my shin that faded to the right, which lead to a mermaid tattoo that looked like it was drawn by a child. No outlines, no black, choppy colors. I start freaking out on the tattoo artist and he told me you get what tattoos you deserve. I was screaming that he ruined my leg, who the fuck wants a hybrid rabbit/mermaid in two vastly different styles??!!
