  1. I always get sideways and want to fucking RAGE...not post on LST. I'm an asshat.
  2. It's a Lonely Island rip off...still pretty funny.
  3. Is she wishing you an early death? Might want to take her out of your will...and insert my name.
  4. Welcome Julie! There are a bunch of great people on here from over your way.
  5. ...when you have pictures of backpieces(including full on man ass) in your office at work.
  6. When I got my right hand done, I did it on a Saturday and didn't need to wear gloves until Tuesday. Then when I did, used a size bigger glove and was just very careful. Did a completely dry heal and it worked out just fine. The pocket thing sucks though. I just remember to switch everything to the other pocket.
  7. I don't think your post worked out with the pictures. I believe there is a minimum post count before you can post pictures in general threads. You may want to contact a moderator.
  8. 1. Use the internet to find a tattooer in your area that you like. 2. Go visit them in person and talk to them about your idea. 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you find someone you want to tattoo you.
  9. He is only about three hours away from me. I need to go visit him and see what he is up to these days.
  10. You can do whatever you want on your own...but there is nothing that says someone needs to help you via an apprenticeship. If you really care about tattooing, and want to see it become better, then you need to put aside your own desire to tattoo and do things the right way. Caring about tattooing as a "would be" tattooer, means you do anything to uphold the craft of tattooing. Sometimes that means putting aside your immediate wants and thinking about what is best for tattooing as a whole. Also, just becasue someone "doesn't have time" or "doesn't know any tattooers" or are "struggling" doesn't mean that they need to be taught to tattoo. There is no point system here. Being a certain kind of person in a certain situation doesn't get you special treatment. And before you say, "I work my ass off to get where I want to be"... So does EVERYONE who really wants to learn to tattoo and do it the right way.
  11. If we are doing a pros v. cons here we could put a tally in the pro column for new tattooers advancing and evolving tattooing. Whether or not you see this as a good thing, it is necessary.
  12. I think I always preferred the 10mm over the 9. I have shot a couple pistols chambered in 10 and really liked them. I guess it would be damn near the same thing as a .40. And, I really love the .40 alot. My favorite pistols are a Sig and a couple different Gloack chambered in .40. Fullsize by the way, that sub-compact shit is for little girls.
  13. I think the key part in all of this is what you hit in the last part of your post. No matter if your tattooer is excited or pumped to do a tattoo or not, if you know he gave 100% and you are happy with it, then thats it. Don't read anymore into it. I work in a shop with some good people...I can use that as an experience reference. I know for a fact that not everyone is always happy to be doing a tattoo. BUT, I do know that everyone trys to give everything they have to every tatoo. We try to make sure the client gets the tattoo they want and deserve. Even if a tattooer doesn't seem excited to do a tattoo, you can bet that a good one, will be excited to do a GOOD tattoo for you.
  14. I think this is the only time that I wish I could see more of your ass.
  15. OH MY LAWD! I can't keep up with all the cool trendy shit nowadays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I really hope you get the tattoo you want. Keep us updated on progress please!
  17. It's your skin...but if it was me, and I was worried enough to ask a forum about advice, I would go see a doctor no matter what another tattooer told you. Talk to the artist that did the work...asking another tattooer will not help anything.
  18. That isn't the final rendering is it? Also @Graeme said it best. The fact that they can "get you in anytime" and their hourly rate, could suggest you may not end up with the quality of tattoo you want.
  19. Den Yekovlev isn't even human. Those Eastern Euaropean/Russian dudes are all just tattoo monsters...
