I'm in central Texas until the end of May. I'll spend some time in Oklahoma, and then after that I really have no idea where I'll end up.

I'm trying to decide now whether to get one more done while I'm close to Austin, or hold off and wait and see where I end up working next...

It seems like you've got a good idea about what you want.

If you tell us where you are somebody will chime in with a good artist in your area.

It'll be easy from there, just take what you shared with us to somebody who knows what they're doing and you'll end up with a great tattoo! :)

It was Levi Hatch at Think Ink in Norman, Oklahoma. :)

It took another few months before I showed my parents, and my mom's reaction was, "Oh look, it's a drop out on our dropout!" Can't say I had made that connection before, but my mom still loves to point it out at family gatherings (I've since gone back to school). My others are real simple black outline-only business that my dad can tolerate because "at least it'll be easy to remove when you're 40!"

My daughter was in town a couple weeks ago and we went out to lunch together. I showed her all my new tattoos and she made a comment to the effect of "it's a bad idea for young people to get a bunch of tattoos, but someone as old as you can get as many as you want because you won't live long enough to regret it". So funny!

Appointment is booked for April 11th because the artist is booked til then the artwork he showed me is easily 10x better than what I had showed him it looks like a more traditional piece of Japanese art. I did not want to take a picture of it because I wasn't sure if that was a bad idea or not. I am SO STOKED though :D

i heard a great qoute the day about how most people hate their job and need to find happiness outside of it. and how making money off of what you love is a pretty new american ideology that a lot of us were fed, and in reality, very few of us get to do..

Ahhhh, so lucky to have the job I have. Only rarely do I wake up not excited to go to work. (Not a tattooer, a speech therapist). :)

I've never looked at this "dermagraphique" before today. Not sure what I think of it, but it's cool to see my falcon there.

I had noro once.

It was terrible. Just like you said, was ok until the moment that everything was completely and totally *not ok*. I think I was in bed for about 4 days, but once it passed I bounced back pretty quickly.

I got one done and I'm glad I didn't get the other at the same time.

Healing it was much tougher than anything else I've got so far and even with just the one I was limping around pretty bad for at least a week.

Effective immediately, due to a major ink shortage caused by @else the price of ink will be increasing dramatically on the limited quantity that is left. The now rare tattoo ink will be more expensive per ounce than Rhodium.
