Got the lining done on tuesday with Uffe Berenth. Looking foward for the handpoking on friday evening ! :)

Good times this weekend and even if we couldn't manage a formal LST get together I feel there was some good hanging out and getting together and talking in person is always so much better than doing it on here.  Until next year!

Your kid screws up brunch meetups like it's his job!  Two years in a row ;)

Saturday convention meetup it is.  Do we plan a time/place or just wing it? 

Let's wing it.  I'm getting tattooed at 11 and A. is getting tattooed at 3 so there will be a baby handoff happening sometime there and a lot depends on his mood/napping.  It's not his first convention though so hopefully he'll be okay.  I'm sure we can make some kind of hanging out and sharing tattoos and stories happen at some point.

Trying to get a last minute tattoo from Dust Wu Horitsuki. Were going to chat on Saturday and see if he has time to squeeze me in.

I enjoyed Friday night last year, but it was far from quiet! It was quite packed with a mega lineup to both buy tickets and get in the doors. The mad scramble for all the six pm appointment holders haha.

Bad news!  The brunch place I had in mind doesn't take reservations and because I have a really small window of time (my kid gets vaccinated at 9, I have a tattoo appointment at 11) I'm going to call the brunch off and suggest that maybe those of us going to the convention on Saturday try to grab a drink there?

Flying in from New Brunswick for this one! Basically hopping a plane after work on Saturday afternoon, spending a night and flying back after the con is over. Already booked a hannya on my arm from Dave Cummings, waiting on an email from Stace Forand for an oni on my knee, and hopefully a banger from Lucas Ford or Ryan Halter if I have time left. Going to try and grab some japanese refference from Gomineko as well.

My boyfriend and I are hoping to drive up at least one of the days from VT! Haven't booked with anyone yet, as I am waiting until my BF definitely has his passport (hate that they changed that law haha). But I keep seeing Jim Sylvia has time still... so tempting...
Anywho, if we do make it, would love to meet up with folks!

I have an appointment for the Montreal convention in September with Uffe Berenth on the lower leg with a Huginn and Muninn design. 
Had my place reserved since January, been jumping all around the place ever since!

Couldn't go for the past 2 years. But I keep a good memorie of meeting with you guys (and god the poutine was good) !

Seeing this thread pop up reminded me that my dad excitedly told me one of my tattoos was starting to fade. He kind of had an "I told you so quality" in his voice that both myself and my wife picked up on.
Sorry dad, my skin is just a little dry. One quick application of lotion and the tattoo I got last summer in Japan still looks amazing.

Had the same thing happens this summer from my mom and my gf ( at the same time), working outside all days I made sure to have something on my arm all the time ( i used a long sock with the end cut) just put a bit of lotion on and suddenly they had no words.

I knew my mother wouldn't like my feet but apparently I've "ruined" them... I just think I made them prettier :D

Just watch, one day I'll get a sleeve then go and visit my family across the country without telling them :p
