You certainly have a right to that perspective, and one might keep in mind that there is more than one thread where he was exhibiting poor behavior. I would not say that every response to him was kind, but in any situation, if you are the new guy it's usually wise to keep your head down and be respectful. Especially if you aren't educated on a subject. Questions are encouraged, but so is listening, which was his problem. Regardless, this is a pretty dead horse topic, and you are more than welcome to interpret it as you will. This a great community with some genuinely awesome people, but in any forum it is important to have a thicker skin. Have a great day!

I don't speak for the mods but I believe it was for inflammatory and disrespectful behavior. We all have our quirks, but when someone shows a habit of inciting argument and not listening to advice, that will put them on the fast track to bansville.

    Hi

Krav-jitsu= triangle choking someone as you stab them in the eye with a pencil? Welcome to the forums!
  4. Best of luck @blujax01. It's good to see you two fighting this together.
  5. Ever? I know that England508 on instagram has posted how long certainpieces take, and I have seen it other places. To speak to your question though from an outsider's perspective, the amount of time spent on a piece, especially large ones, could be seen as a private matter between them and the client. They spend a lot of time and energy on certain pieces, and are already sharing the photos. If they wanted to volunteer the info, then cool, but some might not see it as the casual onlooker's business. That's just my ignorant perspective though.
  6. As a friend of mine puts it, you like to "rawdog a rando." Welcome :)
  7. My dude is like the mastiff of the snake world; sweet, lazy, and has never bit a soul. One year we had a bad freeze with a power outage. With no heat lamp he spent the night under the covers with us, all snuggled up :)
  8. That's awesome @ian :). I've got a little ball python that is the sweetest guy.
  9. A deep breath, Valium, and trust will get you a long way :). The right tattooer will take that amorphous mass of ideas and turn it into something glorious.
  10. Ye have asked to be entertained, and this thread shall provide.
  11. Greetings sir! We would love to see your tattoos and hear about where you have gotten the work done. Welcome to the forums!
  12. Who knows, you may change your mind. Let's set up a mock wedding between your animals at the park just to make sure you don't show up in your birthday suit.
  13. Getting into bed my wife made a wrinkled face, wiped the sheets off and said, "darn cat is tracking litter onto the bed." She obviously didn't look too close..... Excellent.
  14. Heh, I hear ya. We have a thread for that :) http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/worst-tattoo-ever/2961-thread-we-commiserate-about-healing-our-fresh-tattoos.html
  15. Ha, classic. One of my co-workers got his first tattoo from a monk in Thailand for a pack of smokes and a case of beer. (darn it! We're not supposed to discuss prices here!)
  16. I think it's a pretty safe rule of thumb to just follow your tattooers aftercare instructions. For any different methods you can discuss that with them to see if they think it's a good idea. Different methods will work better for different people.
  17. Welcome to the forums! For me healing a tattoo is like a slow cook BBQ. The more I worry at it and hover the longer it takes. Some times you just need to walk away and forget that it's there for a while so it can do it's thing.
  18. Righteous! @youthcrewalex. Cute family pics, looks like you had fun!
  19. You rock, thanks :). On a side note I'm going to take my nephew around Seattle on the 25th to expose him to the brighter side of tattoing in that area. He's a good kid and I will call it an early birthday present if he decides that he wants something from Liberty.
  20. I mean no offense, and I understand the desire to abbreviate, but if you could please take the time to spell out "Japanese," that would be awesome.
